Update after living here 6 months. My apartment has been great for me. I am located in the back across the bridge. The neighborhood is quiet and I feel safe as a single female. It is located in a residential area so there is not a lot of foot traffic. Also a majority of the residents are of a mature age so it is nice. The maintenance is quick and the office staff is friendly. They have pretty good coffee too! The only kick back is this section is "assigned" parking. Please be sure when you get your assigned space that you are aware of it's location in comparison to your apartment. I believe this came before I ever had to sign my application. I just figured the location would be great. For me it is not, but the apartment is safe. Also it's pretty cozy!

BEWARE !! Staff and maintenance are terrible with requests of any kind, prior to moving out I requested for the carpets on my steps to be cleaned numerous times, only to gain no response and be assessed a $150 carpet cleaning fee when I have all wood floors with exception of the steps. Asked for paint touch ups etc all to never have anyone respond and give long winded responses about how busy maintenance is, quite a slap in the face for someone who paid on time as a dedicated resident and was NEVER late. $ave your$elf the headache !!! Seriously and do not move to this outdated place…pretty sad having to take showers like this and no help.

My fiancé has lived at Highland Park for many years and this place has been great! Sadly, we're moving because of his job. Kenda has been the best. She's been so helpful and friendly from the beginning. Super gal!! She listens and has always followed up whenever we had any issues. The couple that does events have been the loveliest people and put on such wonderful events for the tenants. Cutest couple ever! Maintenance has always been great and completed maintenance requests in a timely manner. Thanks Highland Park! Hands down the best place in FW to live. Great people, great location and so quiet too!!
