Reposting & still think the same! Ipurchased a townhouse in this beautiful 25 acre complex. There are 8 acres of common ground. You can walk the grounds and be in a wooded and garden environment with stopping points of park benches. The other benefits for the residents is large pool. It is serene, quiet, and so enjoyable. I am very happy here and my neighbors are wonderful!

In reference to the two complaints that there isn't enough information/contact information, these are individually-owned townhouses, so your contact information would come through local realtors. The Arlington Downs Townhouses are comprised of 129 townhouses, on twenty-nine, wooded acres. There are open green spaces, sidewalks throughout, a playground, a swimming pool, and a clubhouses, which includes a full kitchen, a spacious meeting/dining area, a large living room, a small work-out room, two children's bookshelves, and a library/game room with books, videos, and puzzles to borrow, board games, a ping pong table, a pool table, and a kitchenette. The clubhouse also includes two restrooms. We are a friendly community, overseen by a part-time office manager, a grounds and maintenence supervisor, an HOA, and committees composed of resident volunteers. Buyers of the townhouses include college students, young professionals, families, singles of all ages, as well as retirees. There were originally seven basic floor plans, all of which, contained two and a half baths. Some addresses have been modified to contain three, full baths. The smallest floor plan provides two master bedrooms, but there also three and four bedroom homes, and due to owner modifications, even a couple of five bedroom homes. The HOA maintains the outsides of the townhouses, and the common areas. Owners are responsible for their own patio areas, their interiors, any plumbing within the dwelling, or under the home's foundation, any electrical pertaining to the owner's address, within, or without, as well as any additions, such as patio covers. The HOA maintains common area, yard lamps. Arlington Downs Townhouses were built in 1969, on what was once, Gray's Nursery. Mr. Gray developed several different pecan trees, specimens of which, still grow on our grounds, today. A block from our property, you can stroll the walkways of O.S.Gray Park, and find the imprints of these pecan trees' leaves, accompanied by their names. Twenty-five years, ago, I returned to the Arlington Downs Townhouses, after having lived here, many years, prior, with my mother, and brothers. It's an older property, and we often make updates to beautify, or meet new, safety codes. And we do hear the nearby trains! (I love the trains...) But all in all, we've got a little piece of calm, fresh air, and sweet neighbors, in the middle of a busy metropolis. Some of the Arlington Police Officers call it, "The Best-Kept Secret in Arlington." I call it, "Home."
