When you live on the cusp of Philadelphia’s University City district, getting to class is easy. It’s a short 10-minute walk from Westwood to the University of Pennsylvania, or an even shorter bus ride from the stop outside your door. And with bus routes running all along Walnut Street and nearby Chestnut Street, you’ve got the freedom to go wherever you want, including Drexel University in under 10 minutes and Center City in 20.
At the end of a long day, come home to your newly renovated apartment at Westwood. Kick off your shoes, relax on your bed and unwind in the peace and quiet of your private room. Later, head to the kitchen to catch up with your housemates over a cup of coffee, or cook yourself something delicious for dinner. If you’re not much of a chef, use it as an excuse to explore Spruce Hill’s amazing restaurant scene. Walk three minutes to Honest Tom’s Taco Shop for legendary Mexican cuisine, or meet your friends at Saad’s in two for a taste of the Middle East.
Despite the amount of good food available near your new home, it’s easy to keep in shape at Westwood. Join the Fit Gym located a few minutes’ walk from your front door, or make use of Clark Park’s scenic jogging trails. When you get home, throw your clothes in the property’s on-site laundry, before freshening up with a shower in your spacious bathroom.
