I just moved into to the Raye a few days ago. The application process was really easy, as well as the move in. Anna and Dean were really responsive throughout the process. I was also arriving from out of town, and Dean was willing to wait for me to do the orientation. He was really accommodating. There was one small issue (it was really aesthetics), nothing technical, and a day later a technician came out to fix it. The amenities are beautiful and the residents are really friendly. Appreciate this experience!

Paying $4,100 a month to live here and the AC still breaks constantly. Maintenance has come out multiple times, but every “fix” only lasts a few days before it stops working again. I’ve literally been unable to sleep at night because the apartment gets so hot. What’s crazy is that a property charging luxury-level rent can’t even provide basic living conditions. The management always says they’re “working on it,” but nothing ever actually gets resolved. At this point, it feels less like a luxury apartment and more like an overpriced sauna with a leasing office.

We chose The Raye for safety and convenience, but in our experience the building is not delivering on either. Parking is effectively unsecured. Gates are routinely left open, and access to the garage is not controlled. Our vehicle was severely vandalized while parked in our assigned, paid parking space on the second level, directly in front of the building entrance and within view of multiple cameras. The window was broken and the car was spray painted inside and out (on all 4 side of the vehicle), with significant interior damage. Management stated they were unable to capture the vandalism in the footage, despite multiple cameras covering the area. That raised concerns for us about the effectiveness of the security system/staff and how long access can go unnoticed. There are also quality of life issues. Wind noise inside the unit is excessive and can wake you during normal weather (see video below), and becomes worse during storms. After submitting a maintenance request, we were informed that the dryers are unvented, which explains why it takes multiple cycles (up to 3 hours) to dry a normal load. On a positive note, the front desk staff have been consistently kind and pleasant. At this price point (we are in a VIP unit), basic security and building performance should not be in question. Based on our experience, this is difficult to recommend.

I moved into the Raye 6 weeks ago. The staff is truly amazing....Dean, Devon, Anna, CC, Shawn, Jimmy the Staceys (2) are all welcoming, love their jobs and embrace hospitality. The amenities are awesome in the building and they are super friendly with pets. Brand new apartments with high end furnishings and utilities. It's right next to the Van Aiken district and a great place to live - Matt M

The Raye Apartments truly go above and beyond. The entire staff is exceptional—especially Anna, Dean, Cornelia, the Staceys, Tiara, and Jimmy. Every single person genuinely cares and makes residents feel at home. They’re professional, responsive, and always attentive to personal needs. The amenities are outstanding, from the deluxe coffee maker to the pool and beautifully designed shared spaces that are perfect for working. I’ve lived in many apartments across Cleveland, and this is hands down the best of the best. I’m so glad I made the move here.
