My first year living here was honestly a breeze. I rarely had any issues besides maintenance requests taking longer than expected. Unfortunately, everything changed after my first lease ended and my concession/discount expired. Since then, dealing with the leasing office has been nothing but stressful. I’ve received inconsistent rent charges, confusing payment amounts, and repeated promises that the charges would be corrected and credited back to my account because they didn’t match what I signed on my lease renewal (over $250 more). Despite being told multiple times that everything would be fixed, I’ve continued to deal with the same issues. I’ve even tried contacting Housing Court for guidance, only to be redirected to East Cleveland courts, where I’ve had no luck getting assistance. There seems to be no way to reach anyone higher than the Property Manager, who has been unable to provide answers, has avoided scheduled meetings, ignored emails, or simply responded that they couldn’t help. Communication has been extremely poor. Meetings were canceled without any follow-up, calls and emails went unanswered, and getting a clear explanation of my account balance has felt nearly impossible. Instead of resolving the issue, I was repeatedly told to “wait” while incorrect charges continued to appear. Another issue has been communication with maintenance. During my time living here, every maintenance technician I’ve interacted with has spoken Ukrainian rather than English, so we’ve had to rely on translation apps to communicate. This has made it much more difficult to explain maintenance issues, ask questions, and make sure repairs were completed correctly, especially after waiting days for work orders to be addressed. Residents should be able to communicate directly with maintenance staff when repairs are being made in their homes. If you’re considering moving here, pay close attention to every charge on your account and keep copies of every lease, email, and payment confirmation. My experience went from being a great place to live during my first year to feeling like I’m constantly fighting to make sure I’m being charged correctly. It seems like every time a new property manager comes in, things get worse instead of better. I’ve watched good employees leave because they genuinely wanted to help residents but were limited by the way the company operates. I genuinely hoped this would continue to be a place I could recommend, but after everything I’ve experienced since attempting to “renewing my lease” , I can’t recommend it to anyone looking for honest management, accountability, or transparent billing.

Don’t move here! I moved out in 2016. Slum Lords, no air, no heat, elevators don’t work half the time , roaches and mice at one point. Black mold from the fire years ago. I developed asthma living there. Put your money in Escrow. I just saw the a video on IG from channel 3 news. I live in Maryland now. Get out that building ASAP.

I’ve been living at Lake Park Tower for a while now. The building has had its challenges, but I’ve noticed the management team is making an effort to improve things. The location is great, the views are beautiful, and I appreciate seeing positive changes.
