Showed up for a scheduled and confirmed in person tour but nobody was there. Building was locked and we called the leasing office on their door buzzer only for no one to answer. Even tried waiting for up to 15 minutes just in case somebody was in the bathroom or something and missed the phone. Called multiple times. Honestly unimpressed because it just seems unprofessional to miss a tour that’s been scheduled ahead of time. We even looked to see if they contacted us to cancel and found nothing. Would not recommend scheduling a tour here because there’s no way to get in contact with anyone if you have any issues.

We used to live here when it was called first street and not stratford house but we loved it and would still recommend it! Plus you can walk to just about anything you want in Dayton.

First of all, I would like to say that Marla is my favorite landlady. NEVER in all my years of renting from apartments have I ever had someone who goes so far out of their way to make sure you are not only comfortable but also heard. My husband and I first moved here back in February of this year and it has been nothing but amazing. Mike (our maintenance guy) is also outstanding. His sense of humor is awesome and he always gets the job done. Lori does a great job at cleaning and she is so friendly. If you have any doubts about renting from here, just know that the staff at Stratford are what makes this place continuously run. They all work so dang hard to where I worry about them sometimes, but that never stops them from pushing for the resident's sake. I would also like to mention how sincere they all are when it comes to me and my service dog. They are so respectful when it comes to him and even helped me out when some people had concerns about whether he was a legitimate working dog. Those three have become a second family to my husband and I and I truly don't think I will ever experience something like this again from an apartment complex. If we ever have to move, we can only hope that the next will be as good as they are. They deserve the whole world if I could give it to them. And ANYONE who doesn't appreciate them and all the hard work they do is simply ignorant, blind, and complete fools.
