Do. Not. Move. To. This. Place. I completely understand if you have no other choice, this is your last resort, or you plan on living here temporarily like 6m-1yr. Do. Not. Make. This. Your. Forever. Home. It is cheaper to just rent a home. My husband and I stayed at the main building (as they call it) for nearly 4-5 years. We were finishing school and going to work. ALWAYS paid rent on time and honored the "rules" of being good tenants and good neighbors. When we first moved in management was great! The way Kristen took care of residents who were rude, polite, coming or going was unmatched! And she took care of staff very well! We've seen management change a few times. First group left because it was said they were asked to do something illegal, so they abandoned the job. The owner of peak 10 officially got another set of people to come and they began to steal from the residents, charging an extra $100+ on utilities that had residents in an uproar. Everyone was calling AES and they had the audacity to email us telling us to stop and to just pay the money. They were fired but residents were never reimbursed. Caitlin and Patty did the worse damage. Leaving Veronica to take the blow. On several occasions under their management I would get emails about random complaints and I had never had a complaint since I lived there. We were given notices saying we had to leave, because were were too loud or not paying rent and would have to rush to the office for clarification just to be told it was a mistake and to disregard it. They were strange. Then this new manager Veronica is left to clean the mess of those people. She seemed friendly but the weight of rude residents, constant dumpster fires, and her emotions got in the way of her ability to work appropriately with residents directly and indirectly, who just want a good place to live. She's distant, isolated from residents because I'm sure they are rude to her. She is the clap back queen, look at how she responds to other reviews. When she started you always saw her now she just hides away. We broke our contract and was quoted a $2,000+ buy out. That went up to $3,000+ they said we didnt clean the stove, microwave, the counters, or vacuum. We did however leave a TV because im pregnant and wasnt able to assist my husband with moving it . But being told that we didnt clean and being charged for it was disappointing because I made sure to clean. Because maintenance though they wouldn't always show up...well never showed up. None of our tickets would be answered. Maintenance still was sweet...they maintain several buildings in the area and they are older so my husband and I would just get through our days and try to figure things out ourselves. We paid the money even though we knew we did the right thing. Perhaps, there was a special way we needed to clean. So please take photos! When you move in and out! Please. Don't. Live. Here. The owner of peak 10 is on LinkedIn the main office is in Columbus. Write letters, send him messages. But then again he maybe just as crooked. Doctors, nurses, court workers, students, hard working families, live in the main building, yet are treated unfairly. No pool for two years, paying for a parking spot where the gate is broken and cars have been broken into, paying for a gym where the weights have been stolen and never replaced. And the smell throughout is so awful! Every floor has a different smell and it's horrible. Rent a home, move on the other side of the river, get a roommate somewhere else. Don't. Live . Here. These buildings need to be redone. Management needs a break and new hope. And maintenance needs help. But if you must live here...may God be with you and your family. May this place be peaceful for you and that you create great memories because there are some people who have been there for years and are very friendly and kind. Take care of your apartment, respect your neighbors, and do the right thing.

was approved for an apartment on last week to return back, and then management called and advised it was overturned based on and inspection report i tried to get and understand and they hung up knowing they were lying i called corporate office, corporate official told me because i had issue with staff 2 years ago, they did not want me to return .. here my issue how can you approve me and then call me and lie based on and inspection report knowing its because when i was there i had to correct and older worker there for his terrible work and not completing damage. you overrode my approval based on here say then lied saying state of ohio inspection report .. this is just the first start of my complaint. its sad this is discrimination on a lie. i had a move in date approval letter and all and they called me back after all the approval took my application money and changed there mind with a lie after they spoke to the older worker there im sure. its just very sad.. and then lied about it is what really gets me and the corporate email received advised he does not know why i told that wat they said .
