Worst apartment management I’ve dealt with. The apartment itself is fine, but my experience with management has been extremely frustrating, and I’ve only lived here for about three months. Maintenance has entered my apartment without notifying me beforehand even when I specifically requested advance notice on the maintenance request. On another occasion, while the apartment doors were being painted, my front door was left wide open all day while I was at work. I’ve also had to go back and forth with management over renter’s insurance fees despite having an active policy from the day I moved in and my insurance company confirming that documentation was sent to the address Avalon provided. Rather than trying to work through the situation, I was essentially told the charges would not be refunded. I always pay my rent on time and have tried to handle every issue politely, but I shouldn’t have to repeatedly argue just to have basic concerns taken seriously. It’s disappointing because the apartment itself really isn’t bad — the management experience is what makes me unable to recommend living here.
