The Retreat at Walnut Creek

Whatever you do, please for the love of god do not move here. I am almost positive that the only reason this has four stars is because of bots and people that have been paid to say nice things about this apartment complex. Since moving here in August, which is not even a full three weeks ago At the time i'm writing this, this place has arguably tried to kill me. Firstly, they did not hold the apartment that I paid for them to hold and they moved me into a condemned apartment without telling me. When I got there, there was no ac System, so I almost died from heat stroke The first two nights, when it was 85, almost 90 degrees in the apartment. I had to beg for a portable, a. C. Bc my apartment is on the "replacement list". Then, they started doing construction on the apartment Next to me, without giving me any warning, and I had to give them a disability accommodations form (telling them im autistic) to ask them not to start until ten a m. Not even 2 days after I gave them this disability accommodations form. They forced me out of the apartment for a week. And put me in a hotel and refused to give me reimbursement for the full hotel amount that I paid. They chose a hotel that was thirty minutes away knowing that I had disabilities and refused to pay for the hotel that I had to choose instead due to those disabilities. They also added a random 120$ community fee, which they cannot explain to any One, what exactly we are paying for with that community fee on top of rent, Because it doesn't cover any utilities like electric or anything and our building yard is always a mess of glass and trash so they aren't cleaning the community. When I came back from the hotel five days later, my apartment was not finished being constructed on and was literally boarded up and there was glass and wood. And nails all over the grass. All over the apartment complex. Whatever you do, please for the love of god do not move here. And if you can, please report this apartment complex to the police or code violations or something. I'm currently desperately trying to get out of the lease. I've paid everything on time. I haven't owed them a single thing. And i've been very cooperative, so i'm not really sure why they are being so terrible. But I highly suggest not ever ever moving here. And if you live here, you should leave.
