I moved in about a month or two ago. Great location during the day, walkable to downtown and near the river, which is a nice touch. It can get loud at night, and I was recently woken up by gunshots outside. The staff is great, but the building has had some ongoing issues: both elevators went down recently (one was fixed overnight, the other is still out), the lobby coffee machine breaks repeatedly, and multiple HVAC problems have delayed maintenance needed in my own apartment. Overall, I like the apartment itself, but honestly, it hasn’t felt worth the price. Update: I have communicated directly as well, and placed maintenance requests. Still waiting for the ice maker to be fixed.

I lived at The Julian for about 2 years. The first loft was the F, unit 412, 2 bedroom 1 bathroom for about $1,400 and the last unit was an E loft (maybe) 613, 1 bedroom 1 bathroom. First year was great! Met some of the sweetest and kind people in Columbus, OH. I considered a lot of them as best friends. David, best manager Casto ever had hands down. He kept the Julian worth the price the resident paid there. Attention to detail was huge for David. Second year not so great. David left because Casto didn’t want to value his hard work. Very sad. He went to a different apartment down the street where he is doing great things! We went through 2 more managers, assistant manager husband (Amanda) called me “homeless Drake”, we had a stoker get in the building twice. Security is very low. Noir (club) will be the 2nd biggest problem there besides, mold (8/10/2026). They charged me a late fee $100 on the last 4 days I had left of my lease and sent me to collection for .36 cents. My recommendation, go find David because I promise you this will be a very challenging and expensive mistake. 🫰🏽

We had a wonderful tour of The Julian with Leyila today! She was fantastic and listened to all of our stream-of-consciousness thoughts about why we are considering moving and what we would prefer in an ideal living space, then thoroughly showed and explained to us the units that would match our priorities the most. Thank you Leyila for your care and attention to detail!

The recent experience with the apartment has been sub par. The rent increases after a year has made living here less desirable. The neighborhood is also unsafe with recent shootings outside, and the management needs to deal with the garbage contract and neighborhood isssues.

I had the pleasure of touring the Julian with Leyila! She was very knowledgeable about the history and exact details of the building. Leyila’s tour was concise, informative, and effective - exactly what I was looking for. I’d definitely recommend touring the Julian with her!
