There are so many good things to say about The Ave! This is the first apartment complex I have lived in, and I am glad to have had a great experience for the past year. Management always answers the phone and is so helpful. I have asked questions through the resident portal and they always answer within an hour or so. Maintenance is GREAT. We have only called maintenance twice. Once was for our dishwasher accidentally getting unplugged, and Chuck was here the next day. My only issue I had was I had seen a few house centipedes and silver fish coming from my bathroom. I put in a maintenance request and Chuck brought pest control 3 days after I asked and called me two times with updates. So far, no more bugs :) I told him that he is so great about fixing things so fast, and he told me that he really tries to. Otherwise, I can definitely say that management cares about their residents, and they frequently send emails for reminders of things to do to keep the complex clean and safe. There is also security here, and they are nice as well. Another nice thing is there is a safe neighborhood right across the street, and it has been so nice to walk/run around that. There is a tiny supermarket you can walk to, a super yummy coffee truck also right across from the complex, and The Ave also brings a food truck to the complex every Thursday. They also hold events for residents, and although I have never been, I have seen that they have a decent turn out. I definitely recommend living here!!!

I just moved into The Ave very pleased with the amenities will blow your mind. Everyone’s friendly, kind a mixture of ages not a lot of loud music. Everybody seems to be respectful.

I lived at The Ave for two years, right after new ownership took over and pushed through a significant rent increase. That increase led to noticeably higher vacancy across the complex, and during my first six months I dealt with a string of car break-ins — I had a first-floor unit and caught multiple smash-and-grabs on my own camera. To their credit, management eventually brought in a better security company and the break-ins decreased. My real issue is pricing. When my job situation changed at lease renewal, I moved to a cheaper 2-bedroom unit to save money — only to watch them drop the price on my old unit to about $100 below what I was now paying for the “cheaper” one. Frustrating, but I let it go. The bigger problem came at my second renewal. I checked their website and saw the exact same unit I was living in listed for new renters at ~$300 less per month than I was paying. My renewal quote, meanwhile, was $40 more per month than my current rate — despite being a reliable tenant with zero issues on my record. That’s when I decided to leave. On top of the pricing games, be ready for frequent turnover in management and staff. I would have gladly renewed for a third year if pricing had been remotely consistent, but the bait-and-switch rates and revolving-door management/corporate way of dealing with tenants made the decision easy. EDITED to add that Chuck is an absolute all star and was really a bright spot during my stay at the Ave. Nothing negative to say about him or the maintenance team.

Nika has been super helpful throughout the whole moving in process. She has explained things multiple times upon request to fully understand the process. Jenna was also extremely helpful and welcoming!
