Brit has been doing a great job as the new property manager. When I approached her with concerns about the property, she took time to listen and find solutions, and stayed in contact and kept us up to date, It’s clear she’s working hard to catch up on a lot of things that were overlooked by prior management. It’s also refreshing to see a property manager actually out walking the property, checking on things, helping pick up, and being present instead of hiding in the office or leaving early. Appreciate the effort and attention she’s bringing to the community.

I want to preface this with the fact that it takes a lot for me to feel the need to leave a negative review as I whole heartedly believe in grace and empathy. However, this was hands down the worst place we’ve ever lived. Between the constant turnover of office staff and property managers, phones that were apparently decorative only, and the complete lack of communication or follow-through, living here became exhausting very quickly. The property itself was equally disappointing. One neighbor routinely leaving bagged dog waste sitting on their porch for days at a time, large dogs barking aggressively from first-floor patios every time you walked by, cigarette and marijuana smoke drifting into the unit, unstable/loud stairs, mold concerns, and an overall atmosphere that often felt unnecessarily tense and unwelcoming between residents. Snow removal was also minimal unless snowfall exceeded their very specific “2 inch” threshold, and attention to detail seemed nonexistent across the board. We returned our keys upon move-out, only to receive a call three days later claiming we never did, before staff later realized they had them the entire time. We lasted one year, and after seeing the constant resident and staff turnover, it became pretty obvious why they struggle to keep units occupied. If you need something fast, cheap, and temporary in the 36/37 area, this may work for you. Otherwise, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
