Alexander Park

Apartment is definitely starting to go downhill. The good: Spacious apartments, incredible location, nice pool, trash/recycling valet service is nice, maintenance is quick to respond to work orders and do a good job, leasing office is very helpful, people on site here genuinely care about the property but are clearly overworked and don’t get enough support to deal with issues The bad: Rats have been running around the complex recently due to ongoing issues with how trash is handled, ongoing security issues leading to an uptick in police presence, leasing office has to split time with our property and another property so they aren’t around as often as we’d like, lots of issues with noise at night, definitely seeing some wear and tear from appliances and parts of apartments Alexander Park definitely hasn’t been horrible but it’s clearly going down hill and the source of its decrease in quality seems line up with Birge and Held taking over the property. Their management group clearly doesn’t put nearly enough time into actually managing the property which is why all of these ongoing issues continue to occur and cause tenants to move out. As of now my plan is to stay here for another year and then move to another apartment next year. This property is still okay but for the money we’re paying here, it should be better. There are nicer bigger apartments you can rent for a similar price

Appliances not working in unit. Washer dryer dishwasher refrigerator needs parts replaced in it as well. Siding and staircase needs power washed badly. Unit was nice and clean though not to bad

The entire team was very helpful through the entire process! I showed up unannounced and they were happy to show me the property. I was pleased with what I saw and decided to move forward. This team was on top of helping me through the application process! This means a lot!! Move day was a breeze, a few signatures and the final introduction then I moved in. I really am happy and the neighbors are super nice!

My A/C has gone out twice since moving here and it's only been 2 months and it kinda hurts the electric bill since it's been a hot summer and it has to cool it all the way down from 80-90 degrees. However they have quickly responded to my service requests and had it working next day. The first request though I am positive they looked at the wrong unit so I had to put in a new one. Nonetheless they were quick to respond to my requests. Had ants when I moved in but nothing out of the ordinary. The unit is as expected and a pleasure to live in. The trash service does their job but I wish we had a bigger bin so I don't have to run bigger items to the compactor myself. Just my opinion since I live on the third floor. Parking is kind of scarce, but not awful. I have ran into not finding a spot near my unit a handful of times later at night but it wasn't that much of a walk. However this may affect people with disabilities or injuries way more than me. Overall I do enjoy living here, the leasing office has always been friendly/polite to me. Hopefully my A/C stops going out though haha.
