I am submitting this complaint regarding severe property mismanagement, failure to maintain basic living standards, and illegal security deposit retention by RM 223 E Town LLC. I moved out at the end of January 2026. Now, eight months later, management has still not returned my security deposit. I took the company to small claims court, won the case as the plaintiff, and received a default judgment for the withheld funds. Despite this official ruling, management continues to ignore the judgment, forcing me to proceed with a formal court garnishment of their bank account just to recover my money. Throughout my tenancy, management consistently neglected basic maintenance, security, and building operations: Uninhabitable Conditions & Safety: A broken unit thermostat went unaddressed for over a month. The building garage door was broken longer than it functioned, leaving the property unsecure and allowing anyone off the street to walk inside. Sanitation & Neglect: Valet trash was frequently left uncollected because management forgot or refused to pay service bills. Elevator spills were ignored, dog waste regularly accumulated on the upstairs turf, and heavy marijuana odors persisted throughout common hallways. In-Unit & Facility Issues: The in-unit washer and dryer broke repeatedly without timely repair. Furthermore, management forced tenants into a mandatory bulk internet package costing about $90 extra per month for the exact same basic service. Desired Outcome: Immediate payment of the full court-ordered judgment and formal acknowledgment of these severe management failures.

To whom it may concern my name is Kate. I used to live at 223 E. town. I have been moved for a year and a half. They sent me an updated email stating that I was moving back into my unit September 1 and that my lease would be over August 31 of 2027. I called the rental office multiple times she would not answer but she was sitting at her desk when I pulled up. I asked an ongoing tenant to tell her I could not get out of the car because my leg was broke when I proceeded to talk She stated that she did not care what going on? And that she was on the phone talking to her boss Daretta. she was very rude and she did not care. She told me that she just started working there so she did not send me anything. I was trying to let her know that is sent me a lease and for me to sign my lease so she will not get in trouble. Basically she told me that she did not care and that she just started working there and she had a very bad attitude. I don’t know where you got this new leasing agent from and she was talking to her boss, so I’m quite sure her boss heard everything because she was on speaker her boss did not inform her not to talk to a prospect tenant like that or a former tenant like that I don’t know where you got these new rental office ladies, but you definitely need to get the old one back the reason why I move it is very hazardous to somebody’s family. It is a lot of drug activity SWAT hits on a week to week basis and it is not safe. I do not recommend anyone to live there specially with a disrespectful rental office lady and a boss like that y’all need to do better.

I had such a great experience speaking with Antonya! She was so nice, helpful, and provided me with great information about the apartments. She answered my questions and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. After speaking with her, I’m definitely considering moving here. Thank you, Antonya, for being so welcoming and informative!

Had an appointment with them for apartment viewing. Wasted half an hour standing outside the leasing office. The intercom outside does not work and several calls went unanswered.

This property management company is unacceptable. They have terrible customer service. My fiance and I moved out of these apartments nearly a year ago. Apparently, we had a balance on our account remaining that we were never notified about. We have just now heard about this. The fees and everything associated with the cost of living here is unacceptable. You cannot get ahold of anyone in customer service to discuss these issues as well. I have tried calling customer service SIX times today and have been sent straight to voicemail every time. Completely unacceptable.
