I have lived here for two years, and overall, everything has been great. The management is very responsive, especially Jessie. Whenever there is an issue or concern, he responds promptly and is always helpful. I’ve had a very good experience living here, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed community.

I’ve had a really great experience at Foundry Lofts so far. Before moving here, I searched a lot for a good apartment around Cleveland that would also be convenient for getting to Cleveland Clinic, especially because I don’t have a car. After comparing many options, I felt that Foundry Lofts offered much better value for the price compared with similar apartments closer to Cleveland Clinic. I usually leave home around 6 a.m., and it is very easy for me to get to the HealthLine bus. The buses are frequent around that time, which makes my morning commute to Cleveland Clinic very convenient even without a car. The apartment itself is very new, clean, comfortable, and everything inside the unit is in excellent condition. The appliances and other features are modern and well maintained, and I really enjoy living here. I also really appreciate Jessie and how helpful and responsive he has been. Whenever I have a question or need help with something, he usually responds very quickly, often within less than two hours. He seems very hardworking, responsible, and genuinely cares about the residents and the property. From the application and move-in process to living here now, my experience has been very positive. I’m very happy that I chose Foundry Lofts and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, modern, well-managed apartment with convenient access to Cleveland Clinic and public transportation.

This place is horrible ! Pay an expensive premium to park inside the gates which are never working and the management is extremely rude and disrespectful. I can't stand that this place is in the hood either, it is frequent to hear loud music blasting into the nights, same with gunshots. Also, this mail has been scattered throughout the stairwell going on 2+ months now. Guess I can't blame them, since there have been multiple package thefts from the mail room and no reply from mgmt !! In case you wanted to know how it is living here, here is in a nutshell.

Manager / owner is subpar and not nice. Speaks to others in a terrible manner .

TL:DR Incompetent management, bad neighborhood, frequent power outages, high rent Not a good place to live. I have many complaints. Firstly management is utterly incompetent. They often make things worse. For example, the mail room was out of order somehow. It's literally a room with shelves and a door but it was out of order for months. So all packages were sent to the lobby for pickup (only during business hours). When the mail room was somehow fixed, they had to update EVERYONE's key fobs. A massive inconvenience right over the summer, when quite a few people would probably be on vacation. This isn't the only time they updated the key fobs in a single year. They also switched leasing platforms mid year as well. Management is constantly changing things and ultimately just create more issues. Property manager doesn't pick up his phone, usually just text. Email is a hit or miss too. Barely in his office. The whole complex is like 4 people - the manager, his assistant, a janitor, and a maintenance man. That's not enough people to effectively run a large property. They need to learn to just fix things instead of letting them sit broken. When I moved out a literal gate to get into the parking area was broken as was a hallway door. Just fix it for god's sake. Two, the neighborhood is not as nice or up and coming as advertised. It essentially borders one of the most high crime areas in the city. There's a lot of abandoned buildings nearby, and it walkable in the sense you can technically walk, but there's barely anywhere to walk to. I saw lots of homeless people nearby, and crime reporting apps like Citizen reported lots of crime happening at businesses just a block away, including shootings. Management put up gates to the property to ward off crime, but it also just made life harder. You need a parking pass to open the gate, but sometimes the gate stopped working and you were locked outside. That brings me to the power outages. I've experienced more power outages here than I have over my entire life. And they went on for hours, not just a temporary hiccup. Absolutely unacceptable. And of course the gate stops working when the power's out as well. Maybe it's out of management's control, but something about this area in particular is prone to power outages. Rent is also absurdly high. At least for a studio you can find places with double the square footage for the same price - I did just that when I moved. And the total cost is misleading. it's not just rent. You need to tack on $110 A MONTH in parking. For that much I better be getting land rights to the spot. It's not even covered and snow removal in the harsh Cleveland winter is subpar to say the least. I fell so many times on a huge ice sheet outside my apartment hallways door. *You also get a baked in 8.5% rent increase every renewal. Very important to take into consideration.* Keep looking, this place isn't it.
