Alpha Apartment Management

We lived in an apartment with this property management group for a year. Right up until move out, they were amazing. Any problems we had were addressed quickly with the maintenance team. Sarah was amazing to deal with and I could tell she really cared about the tenants, as well as the properties. Until move-out, I was ready to give this management company 5 stars and recommend it to my friends. Now, that will not be happening. We were charged a 225$ dollar cleaning fee after my partner and I have cleaned the space spotless. We patched and painted every nail hole, we vacuumed and mopped, sure we aren't professional cleaners, but we did not leave a couple hundred dollars worth to clean. 225$ is 21% of our deposit. If I was going to be charged regardless, I wouldn't have wasted my time and money driving from hours from my new home trying to get my entire deposit back. I have lived in a unit bought by this team before, and they charged me 100$ for a cleaning fee when it was a 3 bedroom, 1600sqft unit that I know my old roommates did a horrible job of cleaning. I wish I could attach some of the photos after we moved out of our 1 bedroom 1080sqft unit, but I've tried posting this review and it wont let me include photos for whatever reason. I called and Amy said that this 225$ is a standard cleaning fee that they charged everyone upon move out- which is specified nowhere in the lease, and apparently varies on the cleaning company. I asked why we would be charged if they consider this standard for every unit regardless of cleanliness, and she said that "it's because it's your dirt." Classy. What would have been a great experience has been overshadowed by this last stretch of headache. I bet Sasha would have had a real solution for me. To be told as I'm handing over my keys that we were amazing, perfect tenants to now being charged 21% of my deposit feels like a slap in the face.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the maintenance team, thank you for all you do. They are always quick to handle any repairs, that’s not always the case at other rental properties, I really appreciate them.

Absolute perfect customer service any questions or any maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally any question as far as administrative or legal or anything else is answered promptly professionally courteously and I can't think of a better place to reside.

Super seamless application and move-in process, especially thanks to Sarah's willingness to accommodate our circumstances and schedules.

Five stars specifically for Sarah and Sasha, and Mo. Sarah especially was PHENOMENAL helping me with an out of state move to my apartment with Alpha. All three were incredibly helpful during my first couple months in my apartment when I ran into some maintenance issues. Always responsive, helpful, and quick to find a solution!
