Well kept apartment building, spacious studios , sound proof, and well cared for. I have rented from slumlords before, Reds Realty is one, and Relax Haven the absolute worst. I've been overcharged in the past for a home or apartment that's nothing more than an uninsulated box. With poor and negligent fixes, and questionable billing practices. AIY is locally owned and operated so they are invested in the community, vs. Out of town investor landlords making a cheap buck off of you. When I first moved in it was February so it was Winter by the time I got to be summer and I turned on the AC it was not working and I just assumed that because of the past places I lived and the age of the building that we had no air but I guess I should not have assumed because my neighbor did tell me we had AC and while it did take a month to fix it was fixed versus every other property I've ever lived at where they either never do a fix or they kind of half fix like for example one of the places I used to rent in Old Brooklyn from Reds Realty the toilet was rocking back and forth and they fixed it by putting a piece of wood underneath the toilet instead of fixing the floor. For the price I pay the peace of mind I have and the fact that it's relatively up kept pretty nicely I have absolutely no qualms. This is a pretty good apartment complex and it is pretty well cared for. The building is safe and has keyed entry. And you do have your own mailbox. All the neighbors I've met have either minded their own business or have been more than friendly. You definitely get what you pay for it is not a luxury apartment building. But it is the best apartment I've lived in so far and I've been on my own for the past 10 years. Always be grateful and yeah if you're looking for that luxury experience then you need to be able to pay for that luxury experience and not expect a luxury experience from a pretty basic rental company giving you a safe and economical place to live.

I''m a fan. I used to live where cameras and doors were always broken or not secure, but I enjoy the location here and the fact that it is well maintained.

They made the move in process seamless. The only thing wrong was my mailbox was broken when I moved in but they fixed that right away. Thank you!!
