I filled out application after application for a 2 bedroom within my price range. I've been paying way too much where I previously was. I got ahold of someone from Crossing at Cheviot after my manager had told me if I left over the weekend I wouldn't have to pay for the month. Which would then save me $1700. I reached out to Crossing at Cheviot where we had a scheduled meet to do a tour and told them this information. I was going to have to pay the 1700 onto of the rent there and deposited. I work 10-12 hour days most of the time and it's hard to find time to do anything between work. Ben offered to do a virtual tour! Absolutely an amazing person! He got my stuff sent over and approved very quickly. We had agreed I'd get the keys on Sunday. But I expressed that I had to be out by Monday. So he had the keys ready and the apartment ready to go on Friday. Literally the next day. Everything is amazing about the apartment. More than my girls and I could have imagined ❤️. Even to get the keys, I had a slot open in my schedule and knew what time he was leaving. I was on my way and he said he'd wait for me. Which he did! I then had to cut the conversation short and run back to work. He was so kind and understanding! Once moved in for a few days I got off work and seen someone double back in the parking lot. It was Ben coming to ask me how I was doing and how the girls and I liked our apartment and how the move in was. He asked if there was anything I felt needed done or was it good. I was very pleased with the whole aesthetics of the apartment as well. He doesn't even understand the stress and financial strain he saved us! I've been there for a couple of weeks now, they seem to be serious about keeping the property clean as I seen a resident had dropped trash in the yard and left it and they cleaned it up promptly. Also all the reviews about bugs.... I've not seen anything! And it seems like a quiet and good neighborhood. Lots of stores and restaurants right around the corner. Genuinely would recommend this place simply off the management and property up keep.

After seeing such heavily edited/AI enhanced photos of these apartments, I decided I was ready to share my experience living here in 2023. First of all, the apartments may look nice online, but they are bad in person. Paint dripping onto tile, light switches, baseboards, etc in every room. Light switches, doors, framing, etc. were all crooked in the unit I lived in. It looked like everything was very rushed & done by people who have no experience in home construction or improvement. You do not have temperature control of your unit AT ALL. The window ACs do NOTHING in the summer, leaving 1/2 the apartment you pay for unusable. The radiators not only make your apartment 90° in the winter (making you sick easily) but they also harbor MANY cockroaches. I hope they've controlled this issue since 2024 but it was HORRIFIC. In food bags in the kitchen & everything. And we had many compliments from maintenance & inspectors on the cleanliness of our unit. The price is way overdone for the neighborhood & quality of units. The price & roaches (not even mentioning any management experience over that year) were ultimately why we moved out. There are also tenants who refuse to follow rules, leaving doors open & people vulnerable to the shady neighborhood that area of Cheviot has become. There were always kids from outside the complex coming in, causing disturbances with residents & the public. I truly hope The Crossings have improved since I lived there, but it was honestly the WORST place to live on the West side from my experience. The photos online aren't at all what the quality of the unit is in real life. I'd like to warn people to take a close look if you tour here. They aren't cheap for the amount of shady work done there.
