I recently moved into this place, and so far, it seems like a decent place to live. One of the best things is the convenient highway access—it takes about 20 minutes to get to downtown Cincinnati or CVG Airport. The neighborhood is quiet, and there’s a newly built park nearby. I’ve felt safe walking around, and it’s nice to see families and kids enjoying the park. A special shout-out to Grace in the leasing office. She replies to emails promptly, communicates really well both by email and in person, and helped make the entire move-in process smooth for me. I’ll update this review as I spend more time here. Five stars for now, especially because of Grace!

I lived in Mitchels Park from Feb 2022 to Feb 2026. Overall I think this is a decent place to live but there are a few things to keep in mind before moving in. Pros: - Conveniently located near the highway and downtown Cincinnati. Even on heavy traffic days I could make it from the apartment to UC Hospital in 20-25 minutes. - Priced a little on the higher end but for the location it’s a good deal - the park is in your backyard. I would take my dog for walks multiple times a day and it felt safe. There are a lot of family friendly activities in the summer and it was nice being able to walk from the apartment. - Kroger and Remke very close by. I miss the Remke because they have the best sweet treats if you ever need one - Jacob in maintenance is great and was quick to respond (this was my personal experience as I know others in the reviews disagree) - pretty calm around here with no major disturbances - I hosted a party in the clubhouse and it was nice and staff was accommodating with needing access after hours. Cons: - take pictures of every square inch of the apartment because they will charge you for any little thing that is wrong with the apartment even if you write it on the move in sheet. Make a copy of the move-in sheet and send a copy through email to the front office ASAP after move in. Make sure to flag/keep that message until you move out. Document EVERY service visit because they will remove requests from the online portal. - major water problems in my unit. My hot water heater went out or stopped working three times during my time here. A water pipe froze and busted flooding the entirety of my bathroom, bedroom, and closet. My neighbors hot water heater drained into my apartment. My bathroom faucet leaked like crazy and caused damage to the bathtub seal (I think that’s what it’s called lol). I had to go back and forth with Nexus for months before they would replace the carpet in my bedroom and closet due to mold/mildew smell. - every part of the property is accessible by all residents. This means that people can walk right by your windows. I lived against the woods and there were a few residents who would walk their dogs back there and even one person started talking to us through our open window. Very disturbing experience. - parking can be a nightmare because of nonresidents parking in most of the spots. There is no assigned parking for most of complex except at the bottom of Rampart. There was a car that sat untouched and unmoved for 8 months. I had to reach out to the front office multiple times before it was removed from the property. - front office folks are decent to work with for the most part but sometimes your emails would go ignored. I had a maintenance emergency because the door lock fell out and couldn’t access the apartment. It was winter and no one from maintenance was returning my call. I called the Nexus main office that is located on Petersburg road and they were very rude to me and stated not to call them directly. Overall, I don’t think I’d ever rent from a Nexus property again but if this complex was bought by a different company, I’d move back! Front office/maintenance are nice and decent people but NEXUS SUCKS!! Nexus is poorly run by rude people!!
