Was an excellent building until Bozzuto purchased the property, and their management decisions are entirely to blame for the precipitous drop in service quality. The building is still clean and safe, and the apartments themselves are comfortable, but concierge is rarely present downstairs to route food and grocery deliveries, the morning/early afternoon package sorting is delayed until very late in the evening, and maintenance requests are a gamble -- sometimes handled promptly and effectively, sometimes without any care or attention whatsoever. Emails to staff occasionally go unanswered. Beware renting an apartment anywhere near the dog park, as residents with dogs do not abide quiet hours in the mornings and can't be bothered to train and socialize their pups as a courtesy to the other residents of the building. It's a nonstop cacophony.

I had zero human interaction when I was inquiring about renting here. I booked a tour online and was getting reminder emails from their bot. When I emailed the bot to ask to speak to a real person to try to reschedule my tour (there wasn’t this option to do online), the bot said it would pass along my message. No one ever called me. We didn’t come to the tour because of this. Then the bot kept emailing me every week to which I would reply asking to speak to a real person. Every time I was ignored and a new automated email would come through asking if I was still interested. If you want real people to live in your building, give them real people to talk to. Your AI bot is a piece of crap that clearly doesn’t forward any emails to the leasing agents. We will not be seeking to rent here in the future.

We recently toured an apartment at your property. We were very impressed with both the property and the overall experience. Isabella was especially knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming throughout the tour, and she did a great job answering all our questions and helping us understand everything the community has to offer. After giving it a lot of thought, we've decided that unfortunately we won't be able to move forward at this time. Due to our current work obligations and commitments, the timing just isn't right for us to make a move. We truly appreciate the opportunity to visit and wanted to thank Isabella for her time, expertise, and kindness. We were very impressed and will certainly keep the property in mind should our circumstances change in the future. Thank you again, and we wish you all the best.

Review of Malaysia Drakeford – The Gramercy Leasing Office My experience with Malaysia Drakeford, a Sales and Marketing Associate at The Gramercy, has been extremely disappointing. Despite her role, she repeatedly gave me incorrect information and failed to follow up. The biggest issues were my move-out process and parking charges. I gave notice almost three months ago, with the lease ending June 15. Yet, Malaysia kept calling me, asking, “When are you leaving?” even though the date was already set. Then, during one of those calls, she told me if we left earlier—on June 6—we would only pay for the days we stayed. But when I confirmed that date, she said she spoke with her supervisor, and we still had to pay through June 15. What was most frustrating is that if I hadn’t gone to the leasing office myself to tell her about the move date, she never would have called me to say we still had to pay through June 15—she never told me she spoke with management. Another issue was my parking. I canceled my parking on May 31, but when she sent the charges, the June parking fee was still included. I asked her to correct it and generate a new document, but she said, “I have to speak with the manager; I don’t know if I can change it.” When I told her I was tired of the wrong information, and that this wasn’t the right way to treat a client, she made a dismissive sound, which I found very unprofessional. My first experience with Malaysia was when my key fob was deactivated. She told me I had to pay for a replacement, even though it was deactivated, not lost. Thankfully, I spoke with another leasing office employee who confirmed I didn’t have to pay. After that, Malaysia called me back and admitted I was right. Overall, Malaysia repeatedly gave me wrong information, failed to follow up, and acted dismissively when I pointed out the issues. After nearly a year, it’s shocking that she still lacks basic knowledge and proper customer service. Residents need to be able to trust the leasing office, and unfortunately, I could not.

We recently toured The Gramercy during our apartment search, and I have to say, the pictures really don’t do it justice! In person, the apartments are beautifully designed, spacious, and have a modern touch that makes them feel warm and inviting. The layouts are well thought out, and the overall vibe of the community is comfortable and welcoming. While The Gramercy offers a great value and is much more affordable compared to other options in the area, the quality is still impressive. It’s clear that the management takes pride in maintaining the property, and the staff was friendly and helpful during our visit. Ultimately, we decided to go with 25 North Lex, which, while at a higher price point, offered more luxury amenities like an integrated dog park that suited our lifestyle better. However, The Gramercy was a strong contender, and we were genuinely impressed by what it had to offer. If you’re looking for a great apartment with a friendly community and excellent value, The Gramercy is definitely worth checking out—you might be pleasantly surprised once you see it in person!
