The Rockwell

We rented an apartment at The Rockwell for six months while our co-op was being renovated. As an amenity, they have a furnished 1 bedroom apartment where tenants’ guests can host family for longer stay visits. The apartment is equipped with cooking utensils, modern furniture, and a TV. Bedding is also supplied. It’s like a long stay hotel. Other amenities are a rooftop garden, beautifully planted, with gas grills, an eating area, conversation pits and lounge chairs. A small doggy park where tenants can walk their dogs. A beautifully furnished amenities room with a two-story ceiling, gas fireplace, widescreen TV, a bar with a sink and comfy seating. You can rent it for parties for a price, but I often see tenants doing podcasts, studying with tutors or just relaxing with a book. There is also a gym with treadmills and weightlifting machines. The best thing about this building is the people who take care of it. The rental office is not an AI app, but real people who genuinely care about the tenants. Shout out to Melissa and Silvana in the rental office. They announce clubs, arrange tenant get-togethers, and help tenants with whatever they need. The concierge desk is staffed by charming young men who are eager to help. Alex, the super, and the building staff, work nonstop to keep the building running smoothly and looking spotless. Our apartment faced the back end was quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

I’ve been here since 2021 and it’s been great. The building is quiet, clean and nicely styled. The staff is chill and have always been friendly to me. Also the area has several nearby options for good food and good drinks, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in New Rochelle.
