Reveal Hackensack Apartments

I DO NOT ADVISE TO MOVE HERE. I’ve been living in this building for 3+ years since it was Avalon and they treated me way better than this new management company. The worst is that we don’t have water pressure in our bathroom sink because supposedly they’re pipeline isn’t big enough to feed the whole building, second is that I’m paying for an outdated apartment which is $3,500 for a one bedroom loft because they would not switch us to they’re renovated ones without bringing up the rent price more when they should prioritize their current old tents. STAY AWAY

they do not care about residents. if you complain about something that is a problem they will pretend they care and then give you a quick fix but not solve the problem. after complain n they will act nasty and rude and some maintenance ppl will act like they don’t see you if u complain about them after the fact. I am afraid now to voice any concern as I believe I will be punished for it.

They don't care about you. They will only care about your money. One of the elevators have been down for 2 weeks and they're not bothering to fix it. They close things for renovations but refuse to do anything that is required for the tenants. Do not be fooled by the nice external appearance of the building.

Jennifer at the leasing office helped me with the tour and paperwork for getting my apartment. She made it very easy and she was very helpful. Top notch service, very knowledgeable and friendly. Note: comment was based on experience with Avalon. Since then, the property has been apparently moved to Reveal. Have been here around 5 months. It's conveniently located in between a shopping mall and a town center, and the freeway is just 2 minutes away. Any sort of shopping or service needs are less than 10 minutes (walk and / drive away). The building itself is maintained very well. The gym has sufficient equipments (perhaps more free weights for the squat rack would be good). I haven't used the pool, but see that people frequent it. I've mostly dealt with Fran, and Nikko from the management team, and service team members Jose, and Adam. All of them are friendly to deal with and quick to assist with your request. Moreover, there's some competition / giveaways that happen on a monthly basis, which is good fun. The apartments have carpet floors, which is tough to maintain (especially with kids at home). The smoke detector in our apartment is sensitive and starts buzzing even when there's steam from cooking. But better safe than sorry, I guess. One thing that we would really love to see is a small park or playground for kids. Believe this is the biggest drawback for a young family. We have had no issues with our neighbors. Some of the pet can get loud, but you'll only hear the barks when in the hallways, and not when you're in the apartment. Slightly small for the price point, but compensated by the convenience.
