Longacre House Apartments

Ernesto is so kind and wonderful – it makes my day every time I go downstairs and see that he’s working. We love living in Longacre house and plan to renew our lease for as long as they’ll have us. Ernesto, Michelle, Leo, Jamie and Damien are the very best and a HUGE part of the reason why we love living here/recommend Longacre constantly.

I've lived here for almost 3 years and the location is great. Everything works as expected—I use the gym regularly and the laundry and drying room are reliable. But what really elevates the experience here are the concierges. They know you by name, which means they can let you know when packages have arrived or remind you when something needs attention, like filling out a form or emptying your mailbox. It makes the building feel more like a community than just a place to live. Special shoutout to Ernesto. I often see him on weekends and always enjoy chatting with him in Spanish (my native language). Beyond being friendly and keeping me informed, he's genuinely helpful with the little things—like when my fob isn't working or I've forgotten it and need to get into the gym. Those small moments of extra help make day-to-day life so much easier.

I’ve lived at Longacre House Apartments since 2021, and I can’t say enough good things about the office, concierge, and service team. They are always friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful with anything I need. Special thanks to Michael, Michelle, and Ernesto at the concierge desk for always being there when I need them and handling any day-to-day needs with such professionalism and warmth. They truly make the building feel like home!

My wife and I just LOVE living here – we moved to NYC from Virginia and were unable to visit/tour houses before we moved, so we were incredibly conscientious of being scammed. Longacre and EQR were perfect, we felt completely confident in our transaction with them which was severely lacking when speaking with other property managers. We are so happy to be here and are confident that we want to live here for the next five years. This is in no small measure to the hospitality of our wonderful concierge, Michelle. I love getting deliveries or the daily mail because it gives me a reason to greet her – she’s an utter “day maker” and such a bright spot in my morning. I love getting to chat with her and she has a (seriously good) recommendation for basically EVERYTHING! So so happy to get to live at Longacre.

The building is in a great location and the apartments here are lovely! The staff is always friendly here as well but I must definitely mention one staff member who has always stood out! I have had the pleasure of knowing Michelle, the front desk concierge, for nearly 15 years, and I can't express enough how exceptional she is at her job. Even though I don’t live in the building, every interaction with her has been a delight. Michelle radiates warmth and friendliness, making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her helpfulness knows no bounds; whether it's assisting with keys, answering a simple question or with package deliveries, she tackles every request with a smile and a positive attitude. What truly sets Michelle apart is her personable nature—she remembers the little details about those she encounters, making each visit feel special. In an industry where service can sometimes fall short, Michelle stands out as a shining example of what an incredible employee should be. I often wish other front desk personnel, doormen, and building staff around New York would take a page from her book. Her dedication and genuine care for residents and visitors alike are truly inspiring. Thank you, Michelle, for being the heart of the building and for always going above and beyond!
