Great building, amazing team, worth the price! I was stressing out of finding apartments and I was able to find the apartment that will suit my needs. Shoutout to leasing team, they were patiently explaining how everything work and got me the best deal! Best leasing office i had experienced so far.

I’ve lived in this apartment building for two years and have had a great experience here. The doormen are always very friendly and welcoming, and whenever there’s a maintenance issue, the repair staff responds incredibly quickly. Everyone working in the building has been kind, professional, and helpful. Overall, it’s been a very comfortable and pleasant place to live.

great apartment, lived here for about 2-3 years. Front desk and maintenance staff at the apartment are all super friendly and nice! Truly they make living at hayden feel more like home (special shout out to Danny and Saqib!) Amenities are included in rent and are at great condition. Apartment is also clean and nice. I would've continued living here if I could.

I lived here for a short time and the staff were all amazing, but the leasing office is a complete nightmare - BEWARE if you are trying to take over someone’s lease. We were taking over an existing tenant’s lease, and the handling of the entire process by the leasing team was extremely unprofessional and unethical. I strongly believe they intended to bait and switch us, causing us extreme stress and loss of money. The tenants we were taking over the lease from spoke with the leasing team when starting the process to confirm that the rental cost would be the same as their payment with the lease transfer. The leasing team confirmed that this was the case. The lease transfer application took forever to complete (several months), despite me and my husband meeting all requirements. We have lived in over 5 buildings in NYC and never dealt with this kind of incompetence or issues with application. They blatantly ignored our calls and emails trying to expedite the process and get clarity on the status. The application was only completed by the team THE DAY BEFORE OUR LEASE WAS SUPPOSED TO START. On the day the lease was supposed to start, the leasing team told us that our rent our actually be $500/month more than initially stated to the previous tenants, and more than stated on a previous email they sent us. At this point we had no other options and had to move the next day - I believe this was intentional, and so we were forced to accept the increased rent. With this experience I’m staying far far away from Rockrose in the future, if you have other options I’d suggest you go with that instead

I’ve lived at Hayden for four years, and honestly, I’ve recommended this place to just about everyone I know. The only real downside is how hard it is to get an apartment here—there’s almost never availability! The location is amazing. It’s close to three subway lines, so no matter where I’m coming from, there’s always an easy way home. Grocery shopping is super convenient too—there are multiple supermarkets nearby, and all of them are walkable. The amenities are great and free. I don’t use the gym much, but I LOVE the billiards table. I play pool with friends all the time (though it might be time to replace the cues!). And once spring hits, the rooftop becomes one of my favorite spots. You can grill, hang out, and enjoy really nice views. I even watched the 4th of July fireworks up there in 2023—such a cool experience. The management team is genuinely one of the best parts. Whenever I put in a maintenance request, someone shows up quickly and they’re always super friendly. They’re also incredibly good at remembering faces—sometimes even after meeting once, they’ll still greet me when they see me again. And all the doormen are extremely nice, always saying hello when I come home. It makes the building feel warm and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend living at Hayden. If an apartment opens up, grab it—if you hesitate, you’ll probably lose your chance!
