When moving into harbor 1500 two years ago I was so excited- the proximity to NYC, great restaurants nearby, and sweeping views of the city. I want to start by saying I loved my apartment! Outside of my four walls, Harbor 1500 is a mess. Residents continue to smoke, grill, leave trash and Whole Foods shopping carts in the hallways. Only a few months after I moved in valet parking was taken away- which was a huge appeal to the building. My real breaking point is the incompetence of administration and complete disregard of resident concerns. About 8 months ago I noticed an unusual amount of noise/stomping coming from upstairs. Which I found odd as I never noticed my upstairs neighbors before. After one too many nights I asked the front desk to give them a call to quiet down. Well- The stomping is incessant, 11pm, 2am, and 4am I wake up to pacing. I’ve tried knocking on my upstairs neighbors door (they don’t answer), calling security (also don’t answer the door) and expressed my concerns to administration to which they said “they have a right to live”, “are you sure it’s not pipes?” “They said it’s not them” and many more sad excuses. Tell me- how can I have never noticed my previous upstairs neighbor for 1 year and when someone new moves in I can hear every single step they take? (I also have a balcony, I can go outside and see them moving about the apartment at crazy hours) I cannot tell you the last time I have gotten a full uninterrupted nights rest in this apartment. For the exuberant amount of money you spend on an apartment, parking, and the BS “Lifestyle Events” at Harbor 1500 not a single person will take your concerns seriously. Harbor 1500 has great potential but the sad excuse for a staff is truly its greatest downfall.

I’ve been a resident for several years, and unfortunately, the experience with building management has been consistently disappointing. Issues are rarely resolved in a timely or effective manner, and in many cases, they are not addressed at all. Over the past seven years, there has been a clear pattern—concerns are often met with defensiveness rather than accountability, and management tends to tiptoe around problems instead of taking ownership and driving solutions. As a resident, it’s frustrating to repeatedly raise issues without seeing meaningful action or follow-through. Currently, there are multiple ongoing problems throughout the building that continue to go unaddressed, which only reinforces the lack of responsiveness and urgency from management. At a minimum, residents expect clear communication, accountability, and resolution of basic concerns—none of which have been consistently delivered here.

I recently moved into Harbor 1500, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The building is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers one of the best river views I’ve ever seen — waking up to the Manhattan skyline every morning is just incredible. 🌇 A special thanks to Jeffrey who made the entire move-in process smooth and stress-free. He was extremely patient, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready for my arrival. From answering all my questions to helping with logistics on move-in day, his support truly made a difference.

My car got stolen from the valet downstairs. Kara, building manager, said she’d make sure there’s all new valet staff and a change in security…one year later the same people are still working the valet and nothing has been done to improve security. Maintenance to the Hudson calls for a huge crane that gets parked on the side of the building, literally inches away from your patio/terrace and completely blocking the view of the Hudson and Manhattan. Also, I went days without running water, AC/electricity. I didn’t get compensation for any of this.

Love my new apt. Master’s room was really big and had a brilliant Manhattan view. Front desk was available all day long. And requested services were always completed within two days. The equipments on the kitchen was also new and cool containing high-tech designs.
