I live here for two years, their manage team are very friendly and efficient, the doormans are also very nice. The room is spacious and clean, you can also do free street parking nearby. You can't find any other 1b1b in downtown brooklyn with such price.

Long story short, the property management is the worst part here. I lived here for three years. There was a serious water leak, the entire flooring needed to be replaced. We had to move to the next door with our own efforts of purchasing boxes, packing, and unpacking. The management charged us a month rent for a few days we were holding both of apt keys while we're moving, which was agreed approved to do so in writing prior to the moving. We didn't get any apology for the trouble and potential safety hazard caused by poor building/plumbing, but struggle with unexpected moving and further action for getting our deposit back.

5 stars because of the employees at Brooklyn Gold! The building overall is fine. Location is good -- extremely accessible to the city, most subway lines are about a 10-15 minute walk away, walkable to neighborhoods with better coffee shops/restaurants Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Fort Greene, & DUMBO, very close to Wegmans and close enough to the Trader Joes, pretty spacious apartments, and washer/dryer in all units (minus studios). Wolfgang the doorman in particular makes the building experience so much better, he's always there to brighten your day during the morning shift. I've lived in multiple units in the building and receive a lot of deliveries that occasionally get sent to old units but when he's on the clock, it's guaranteed I will still receive them. Anytime he's working I feel at ease with all of my deliveries. Shoutout to Jayed, Ben, Ricardo, and the Property Manager Alex as well! They're all great.

RUDEST staff ever!! I drove 45 minutes to tour this place on behalf of my friends. When I got there they told me I am not allowed to tour for my friends even though they live in another state and are trying to move here to NYC. The doorman refused to let me up even tho my tour was confirmed. When I called to speak to the leasing office the leasing manager refused to explain to me why I could not tour even though my tour was confirmed. When I asked for his name so I could leave this review he said “No” and hung up on me. I called back again asking for his name and he continuously hung up on me. Terrible customer service. Would never recommend anyone to live here under that type of hostile , passive aggressive, rude management. My friend who previously lived here already told me how bad management was and I did not listen, but I was just trying to help my friends find a place in downtown Brooklyn since the area is convenient.

Just moved out after spending 2 years here. Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin… The front desk perpetually seems miserable and unhappy so there’s a constant negative energy circulating throughout, the neighbor itself is quite soulless and the immediate area is neither a neighborhood or community. I was catching myself feeling down or off on days that should’ve been fine, didn’t realize until I moved out how badly this environment impacted my mental health and overall happiness. Management and communication is non-existent. I once asked why my side of the building is shaking constantly, maintenance response is someone must’ve dropped weights in the gym.
