600 Washington Apartments

Renter beware! The every day team here is amazing, including James, Samil, Rodney, Abdul and Ray to name a few. That said, higher management and corporate is terrible. The gym noise radiates to many of the second floor units, and management does absolutely nothing about it besides lie to you saying you are the only person who has complained and asking for recordings of the noise despite them knowing very well this is an issue. Four of the 200-level tenants are moving out simultaneously due to this noise issue that has been unresolved for 8+ months.

Visited a friend at this facility and I have to say the gentleman at the front desk named Samil, was incredibly kind and helpful. I was so impressed by his professionalism and warm attitude that I ended up recommending the building to a friend who’s currently searching for an apartment in the city. Hope to see you again!

Recently moved in and im extremely disappointed. My apt is directly above a gym (Gotham) with a speaker that hangs directly below my apt and has a very loud bass that makes my walls shake and vibrate. This was not disclosed prior to moving. I’ve asked to transfer units but have gotten a run around response from management. Extremely disappointed in the way it’s been handled by EQR. They say that they have taken measures to fix it but the gym has a concrete ceiling with pipes (impossible to sound proof) and the speaker has not been repositioned. See photos attached .

I’ve lived at 600 Washington for over 8+ Years. Now while my feedback on Equity Apartments “Corporate” is not a 5-Star Review, the staff make this building unmatched and are worthy of all the stars that can be given! They make this building feel safe, and like home. I cannot say enough good things about Samil, James, Rodney, Abdul and Ray to name a few. They’ve become like family over the years and take such good care of the building and its residents.

I’ve had a great experience living in this building. The management team is professional, responsive, and truly cares about the residents. Any issues or maintenance requests I’ve had were handled quickly and efficiently. The front desk and staff are always friendly and helpful, making the atmosphere feel welcoming and safe. It’s clear that the building is well-run and well-maintained.
