We moved in four months ago. Our penthouse apartment is beautiful, spacious, and quiet. We have had the fire alarm go off unexpectedly, but management stepped in quickly to address this. We have no concerns with the gym equipment, pool, or any amenities; all are working, clean, and look great. Both the leasing office and maintenance have been exceptionally professional and responsive. We are very pleased with our new home.

If I could leave no stars I would. I lived here 5yrs just because of how convenient it is to get to everything. But the apartment building itself HORRIBLE. Every winter my heat didn’t work until I had to put in a ticket and every summer my central air didn’t work so they would try to accommodate me with a portable ac that only cooled the living room until they fixed it. One year one elevator didn’t work the entire time which made everything inconvenient. For I believe 2 summers the pool was closed due to leaks in the garage that they couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The game room barely ever worked. The exits sometimes would have dog urine in them also blood drips. One year the lady in the office got unalived in the building. Then they hired security which would just sleep for a few months. Fire alarms would randomly go off in the middle of the night for no reason. The garage doors would be broken sometime wide open for anyone to come in. The staff will have the office closed during business hours and make it super inconvenient to contact anyone. Sometimes I’d call and watch them not answer just to see who it was. So if you’re looking into moving PLEASE don’t make the allure Mineola a choice of yours!

There is a very unbalanced power dynamic between residents and the property owner. Residents can be charged a $50–$100 fine each time they violate a property rule—for example, putting out trash at 5:50 PM when collection starts around 6–7 PM. Meanwhile, residents receive no compensation or meaningful remedy when fire alarms go off at 2 AM on weekdays, last for more than 40 minutes, and occur as often as three times in a month. The rules and penalties for residents are strictly enforced, they will directly put in your balance, but it does not feel like the same level of accountability applies when building-related issues significantly disrupt residents’ lives. That said, the building management staff themselves are very nice and pleasant to communicate with, just the upper management/ownership.

Building management staff is very nice and they try to be accommodating. However, upper management/ownership doesn’t know how to operate a luxury apartment complex. The fire alarm continuously goes off in the middle of the night for 30 min to sometimes over an hour.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Fire alarms will go off in the middle of the night, false alarms and they do nothing!! Disturbing residents lives!! If one day there’s an actual fire people will get hurt because they will think it’s a false alarm!!
