Bob and the whole setauket knolls team including Ian and Chris were amazing my whole 4 years there. Great neighborhood, quiet, safe, any maintenance issues were addressed very fast. Conveniently located if you work at Stony Brook Hospital. Definitely recommend!

Living at Setauket Knolls for the past year has been a truly smooth experience for me. Bob Cole, the property manager, made sure my move into the apartment was hassle-free. Before the move, he gave me a tour of the community as well as the (very spacious) apartment. He helped me with every stage of the application. Since my move, he has always been easy to reach via calls/messages. I also appreciated his patience and understanding when I had an issue with setting up payments with the utility company at the beginning of my lease. The property is very well-maintained, for which I should thank the supers, Ian and Chris. I was always able to get prompt responses from both of them whenever there was a maintenance issue, although there weren't very many of them. Ian also went out of his way to help set up some kitchen equipment for me. After one of the big snowstorms this winter, he also kindly helped me dig my car out of the snow! I doubt I'll find a more dedicated and friendly crew anywhere else. I also want to give a shoutout to the folks who shovel the snow and cut the grass, who I've not had the chance to get to know personally. During the snowstorms, I was quite impressed by how prompt they were with shoveling the roads, sidewalks and parking lots. I'd highly recommend Setauket Knolls to any prospective tenant. The current Google rating (3.5/5) really doesn't do justice to this community. Looking at past reviews, it seems the new team led by Bob and Ian have turned things around quite a bit in the past 4-5 years. I am confident they will continue this exceptional service in the future.

I want to give a huge shout-out and a heartfelt thank you to the Management team at Setauket Knolls for the incredible job done during this week's blizzard. The snow removal company does an outstanding job, and management truly goes the extra mile by having them return to clear parking spots where vehicles were initially parked or any sidewalks needing an additional pass. There is always such genuine care and concern for everyone’s safety and mobility here. Beyond the main crews, our Superintendent Ian and Assistant Superintendent Chris were out personally assisting tenants with shoveling out their cars and ensuring every surface had ample ice melt. We so appreciate everything they do, in every season, to ensure the best quality of living for every single person in this lovely, tight-knit community. Thank you so much! Linda Bogdanowich

My husband and I have been residents of Setauket Knolls since November 2023. During this season of gratitude, we wish to express our sincere appreciation to Bob, Ian, and Chris for their exceptional commitment to our community. These invested, caring, and professional gentlemen work tirelessly to maintain the peaceful, safe, and welcoming environment we all enjoy. Bob, the Property Manager, is always approachable and welcomes feedback, concerns, and suggestions. He is honest and a man of his word. We were so fortunate that we moved in when Bob and Ian were here. It was, and continues to be, evident that their focus and commitment is directed at correcting previous issues and concerns and providing higher standards in all areas under their leadership. As homeowners for over four decades, we are cognizant of the importance of proper, efficient upkeep, necessary replacements, and complete repairs and maintenance. We have seen first-hand the total replacement of countless high efficiency HVAC systems, water heaters, appliances, bathroom fixtures, and vanities in both established and renovated apartments. In addition, the proper repairs or replacement of both electrical and plumbing systems have and continue to be made. All apartments are inspected twice yearly on fire alarms and heat sensors. Additionally, HVAC systems are inspected twice yearly and all filters are replaced. All the laundry rooms have been updated with new, stainless steel washers and dryers featuring convenient app payment, remote machine availability, timers, and additional services. We respect and appreciate their commitment to the health, safety, and quality of life for our community. Ian, our Superintendent, and Chris, our Assistant Superintendent, are reliable, skilled professionals who care deeply and provide exceptional service, treating every property as if it were their own. Without hesitation, we recommend that prospective residents schedule a tour and meet with Bob. We wish to emphasize our confidence that under the present, dedicated leadership of Bob, Ian, and Chris, Setauket Knolls will continue to flourish as a safe, peaceful, and lovely maintained property for the benefit of all residents.

I lived at Setauket Knoll Garden Apartments for four years. I miss the quiet and cozy living space I had made for myself. There were several changes over the years. The apartment complex got a new maintenance team two years ago and recently Bob Cole became the property manager. After a bumpy start, maintenance issues were promptly and correctly fixed (special thanks to Ian for this). When it was time to move out I had no issues and Bob Cole made it a smooth transition. If you had asked me two years ago I admit I had grievances. However, my experience ended on several positive notes. I'm lucky my experience went from bad to good and overall would choose to live here again.
