Mountainview Gardens Apartments

We lived here for about a year, and while the apartment itself worked well for us as a temporary place, the overall management and services were below expectations. One of the biggest issues was snow removal. The current system is very disruptive. Plows would arrive early in the morning honking repeatedly and expecting residents to move their cars regardless of work schedules. A more organized system with advance notice, such as a mass email with a clear timeline, would be much more reasonable. We also had serious concerns regarding our security deposit. The handling of it was unlawful, as it was not returned within the timeframe required by law. When we followed up, the deposit was suddenly ready, but they still deducted charges from the total. We were billed for carpet steam cleaning even though we had already professionally steam cleaned the carpets and left the apartment in excellent condition. We didn’t fight it because we have no time for that, but they know what they’re doing. Unknown if it’s due to the owners or the “office managers”. There were also issues with how utilities were handled. Our internet was disconnected without clear communication (rightly so we were moving out), and we were not informed that the incoming tenants would not be using the existing equipment. We then had to deal with returning the equipment ourselves (it’s been 7 months) even though management sets up and cancels these accounts. I should bill them $150, and then they’ll act all surprised. This lack of communication created unnecessary hassle. Not professional. Safety and maintenance were also an issue. We had previously reported rotting trees on the property, and a large tree eventually fell and damaged my car. This was a known concern that was not addressed. There were also ongoing quality of life concerns. The handyman frequently drives an extremely loud black car through the parking lot and revs it aggressively, which is unnecessary and disruptive to residents. Additionally, the amenity fee does not reflect the value provided and feels like an unnecessary added cost. Grass gets spit all over cars, and they let it get so high before cutting, While we did not have major day to day issues, it was the accumulation of these smaller problems that negatively impacted our experience. I would only recommend living here if you are patient and prepared to be proactive when dealing with management. To future people, just beware. I may sound like a picky individual but the place is a small scam. Only great as a transitioning location.

I'm not in the property yet; I move in on March 15. The process of applying and getting approved had the potential to be challenging, but Lisa in the main leasing office did an amazing job keeping me updated and guiding me every step of the way to ensure my application was properly filled out. I’m fortunate to say that I was approved for the apartment I was looking for, and my move-in date is March 15. Saying that I’m excited to move in is an understatement. The grounds look beautiful, and so far, everyone I’ve met has been very friendly. I can’t wait to call Mountain View Apartments my home. An added bonus is that my little four-year-old will be attending school right next door. The comfort this gives my wife and me can't be put into words. I look forward to joining the Mountain View community, making new friends, going on new adventures, and living my best life.

We absolutely loved our experience with Mountain view Garden Apartments. From the beginning Lisa was super helpful. She went out of her way to answer our questions. Lisa made us feel welcomed. Thereafter, from the screening process to using the App, everything was easy. We signed the lease, uploaded the documents required and made the necessary payments on the APP. It was easy as 1, 2, 3. Highly recommend Mountainview Garden Apartments.

We lived at Mountainview Garden Apartments for 12 years. The office staff was wonderful. We Loved our apartment, the beautiful grounds, and were blessed with amazing neighbors who remain our friends to this day. We are currently on the waiting list, and are excited about returning. For us.....this is home!
