Peppertree Village Apartments

The property is well maintained, and whenever I’ve had a question or needed something taken care of, the process has always been smooth and easy. Patti, the property manager, has been especially great, she’s very responsive, helpful, and always makes an effort to get things handled quickly. From moving in to my overall experience living here, communication and management have been reliable and straightforward. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed living here

This past winter the building manager (she calls herself the landlord, but it’s owned by a parent company) allowed some guy with a flamethrower to “clear ice” off the roof. Sever of us asked her to not do that for obvious reasons. She chose not to listen, and the apartment caught fire, burning my neighbors home (ironically a nurse in a burn ward) while she stood outside and watched. When the landlord finally arrived on the scene, instead of apologizing to the residents or the neighbor whose home was burning, she hugged the guy who set it on fire. Highly don’t recommend living here. You’re more likely to be burned alive than to get your appliances fixed (and don’t get me started on those).

I would love to have been able to see these apartments but could not. I set an appointment for my husband and I to tour the apartments and when we got there nobody opened the door at the leasing office or answered the phone. Someone was sitting outside the leasing office door, saying that he had an appointment an hour before ours and nobody has answered so he had been sitting there over an hour. Honestly if thats how this apartment complex wishes to represent themselves, I think we dodged a red flag! Its just a shame.

Great place to live, great neighborhood. Only one issue... I’ve noticed a decline in the lawn care quality over time. Specifically, the area outside the entrance of 141 Peppertree—which has become overgrown with tall, untamed weeds. Mint was planted there by a previous tenant, but she left years ago, it just spreads out of control and looks very neglected. The bushes also go untrimmed, which adds to the unkempt appearance. Overall, the landscaping used to be much better maintained a few years ago, and it’s a bit disappointing to see the decline.
