The Residences at Fox Meadow

I toured the property with Stephennie today. The property and amenities looked lovely and well maintained. The unit itself was clean and full of light. We also ran into a resident who, after learning I was a prospective resident, spoke highly of Stephennie and expressed strong confidence in her as a caring manager.

My family and I moved here in 2023 and finally got fed up and moved out this month. These apartments are NOT luxury, no matter how much they advertise otherwise. The workmanship is cheap, sloppy, and poorly done throughout. Staff turnover was constant and alarming — 3 property managers, multiple leasing agents, and several maintenance workers during our stay. No one seemed capable of properly managing a residential community. The grounds were neglected and poorly maintained. Snow removal was chaotic without a plan, dangerous conditions especially for older tenants, some who actually had serious falls and were hurt. They left a bucket of salt in the hall but If you pay 2600 a month rent, should you have to salt your own walkway? There is no usable green space for pets, yet residents are scolded for allowing dogs on the grass. Completely unreasonable and hostile toward residents. We lived in Building 5 and were outright lied to about the train. We were told it only ran a few times a month. In reality, it runs multiple times a day and night and shakes the walls. Sleep was constantly disrupted. Then construction for a Canadian pipeline began directly behind the building. From morning to night, shale was being broken up nonstop. The noise was unbearable, and construction dust filled our apartment even with the windows closed. One bedroom developed a strong, noxious, gas-like odor. We contacted National Grid multiple times who fixed some leaks but didn’t solve the issue. We reported it repeatedly to maintenance. The issue was never resolved, and we were essentially given a runaround and ignored. This was alarming and unsafe. The common hallways were pretty dirty. Carpets were stained with dog urine and smelled terrible. Property Manager Stephennie said they would be shampooed. They never were. The odor was still present when we moved out. To make matters worse, upper management refused to respond to concerns or emails. Repeated attempts to escalate serious issues were met with complete silence. There was zero accountability. Yet they raised my rent $2475 to 2675! This property is mismanaged, noisy, dirty, dishonest in its advertising, and dismissive of resident safety and concerns. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else.

Recently had an issue with my AC while in a heat wave and I have to say that Stephanie Lincoln, John Sandlin and Marvin Williams of Maintenance was ABSOLUTELY amazing and hands on. I got a mobile AC unit installed ASAP and the AC itself was fixed the very next morning. If this happened when I owned my own house I would have to wait many days for a tech to come out and fix and probably would have had to pay a high price because of the heat conditions. I love living here! The pool, gym, clubhouse, movie theatre and grounds are always well taken care of. The apartments are spacious and private and I love all my neighbors when I see them.

We have been at The Residences at Fox Meadow for almost 3 months, since it opened in March. This has been hands down, the best apartment experience of our lives. The apartments are beautifully designed, with an open concept in mind, and all the amenities you could dream of. From a huge granite countertop island, to a full size washer and dryer in our own personal laundry room, to all the windows that bring in light and high ceilings, which make it feel open and spacious, and even a beautiful balcony. The building is also so quiet. We don’t even know we’re living next to neighbors because you never hear anything. Even though we live on the third floor, there are elevators which make it accessible for all. We also have a large garage attached to the building that we love. We use the incredible movie theater with full sized recliners and surround sound often. There’s also a 24 hour gym, and even a large community room you can rent out for parties. We can’t wait for the pool to be built. Should be this summer. But until it is built, we can use other community pools in the Fox Meadow family, which has been great. We have had no maintenance issues and have had quick responses from them, fixing anything we have asked for. The best part of living here though has to be how nice all of the management staff are. Rita has been amazing to work with right from the start. She is so responsive, polite, helpful, and friendly. I’m so grateful we moved here, and we will be here for years to come.

My partner and I have now been living here for a little over two months now, and have enjoyed this place immensely. We found this place online while we were both deployed overseas, and Rita and her team were extremely helpful in helping us to secure a new apartment. Even with a six hour time difference, Rita was always emailing and calling us, and working to accommodate our needs. Since coming home from the deployment, we have enjoyed finally having a permanent home. The buildings are all new and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It is quiet and clean and our dog loves his new apartment with a balcony. I’ve attached a picture below of our dog standing outside the office, because he wants to see Rita and Skylar (they always have treats for him)! He loves this place just as much as we do.
