Lived here for a couple of months and so happy they had an apartment available. Darcie made my move so easy and we did everything in 3 days. I was living in a bad high crime area and needed a safe NON Smoking place to live. Neighbors are super friendly, my neighborhood is clean and quiet. Maintenance guys are responsive and really talented. I hope to stay for another 10 years. Thanks Darcie.

Ive lived here with my partner for about a year now, and it’s been wonderful. Maintenance responds quickly to request in my experience, and management responds fairly quick to any Concerns and questions. There are also specials on rent sometime which is a great enough deal to begin with, so far with my time I’ve loved it.

I've been staying at Park Row for almost two years now, entering my third soon. Darcie and the maintenance crew have been incredibly responsive and helpful, going both ways. Darcie responds as quickly as possible and important fixes happen as soon as the maintenance crew is available, and if something happens that affects the whole complex or one set of apartments she gets the word out as soon as she gets it. With water and heat included, it's pretty hard to beat this level of apartment living at this affordability, especially for the central location. When I got here it was a great place to start my life in Albany, and I hope it can be something like that for anyone else looking for something similar.

I would not recommend living at New Park Row based on my experience. The apartment building constantly smelled like cat feces and urine. Management allowed tenants to let their cats room the apartment building as they pleased. During my lease, my apartment flooded with sewage. Despite the obvious health concerns, no professional cleaning or restoration company was ever provided to properly sanitize the apartment. I was left to deal with the aftermath myself. I also had ongoing maintenance issues that were never adequately addressed. My ceiling leaked repeatedly in the bathroom throughout my tenancy, yet no permanent repairs or restoration were ever completed. My window sill also leaked whenever it snowed. Rather than fixing the problem, maintenance simply left my window open with a metal sheet positioned to drain water outside, even during the winter. This was not a real solution and made the apartment uncomfortable to live in. Noise complaints were never addressed. All management said was "call the police if you want". No accommodations or alternative housing were ever offered despite these recurring issues. To make matters worse, approximately one week before my move-out date, maintenance entered my apartment and threw away roughly $200 worth of my personal belongings without my permission. When I contacted the leasing office, they refused to reimburse me for anything that had been discarded. I understand that maintenance issues can happen in any apartment complex, but what matters is how management responds. In my experience, communication was poor, problems were not properly resolved, and there was little accountability when significant issues arose. I hope management improves how they handle resident concerns in the future.
