Hampshire Apartments

Great property manager. No real issues with my 1 bed apartment. The third floor does get hot in the summer, however without constant air conditioning.

Hampshire Apartments is a great complex! I lived here for six years with little to no issues. Paula (the manager) is responsive and personable. If there was ever an issue I could just pop by the office and it would get resolved pretty fast. The maintenance team was great and respectful. It's an older building, but well maintained. I always felt very safe. My mail never got lost, I felt safe walking around the neighborhood, snow removal was prompt. Since it's an older building, you can hear a lot of noises and the walls are pretty thin. I lived alone so this was actually comforting to me to know there were other people around. People were pretty respectful about noise so it wasn't much of an issue for me. The laundry rooms were also well maintained and I didn't have issues with getting a machine. It's kind of pain to have to haul your laundry down the stairs and the trash outside, but nothing's perfect! The kitchen was pretty small in the unit I lived in so counter space was a bit of an issue if I was making anything elaborate, but everything was in good working order. I never had an issue with any of the appliances. Dean always fixed the lightbulbs, the toilets, everything pretty fast if anything was out. They also check everything regularly (smoke alarms, etc.) and give good notice. My new complex doesn't check everything as often and more of the onus is on the tenant so I actually miss this part of the Hampshire. They do their best to make sure the building is kept up. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and felt safe and comfortable. Rent only went up by $30 a year so it was way below market value during the time I lived here (it was painful looking at new places lol). I have lots of fond memories and am grateful for my cute apartment that saw me through my twenties. Thanks and good luck in your apartment search! P.S. Paula was also very kind and flexible with the lease when I thought I was moving out but then didn't because of personal circumstances. I think I flip-flopped twice and she was very gracious and understanding. You always hear horror stories of building managers and landlords and I felt very lucky that it wasn't true at these apartments. When I did my initial building tour I asked how long residents lived here and I remember Paula saying twenty years. I was skeptical, but ended up living here for six years myself. I honestly probably would have died here if I didn't move out with my partner and need a second bedroom and bathroom.

Hampshire is an amazing complex! Thr interior feels more like a hotel than an apartment, the rooms are clean, and whenever I have a maintenance problem, they solve it almost immediately. 10/10 would recommend.

I have lived at Hampshire Apartment going on 3 years this year. This a professionally run complex. The grounds is always well landscaped and the snow removal is always right on. The pool is always well maintained and the complex has a quite professional setting. It has a small gym, laundry rooms in all three buildings and small conference rooms for private meeting. My 1 bedroom apartment is between 700 to 800 square feet. It was clean with fresh paint and new carpet installed when I moved in. It has new appliances and comes with fridge, stove and microwave. Heat and Hot water is included. Paula the building manger is thoughtful, kind and very good at her job. Whenever you approach her with a question or issues, she has the answers. Dean the building maintenance personal is resourceful smart and very knowledgeable about his job. Whenever I needed something repaired it was taken care of right away. I enjoy living here and have no plans on moving anytime soon.

I highly recommend Hampshire Apartments!! I moved to Hampshire Apartments 3 years ago after selling my local home. It was a perfect move for me. Paula is amazing to work with, always helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The maintenance staff is friendly and always willing to help, especially Dean and Ashley. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The buildings are clean, quiet and cared for. The pool and exercise room are added bonuses. I'm very happy here!!
