The Fort Greene House is less than half an hour from Manhattan. The house has plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars within walking distance, and is mere blocks from Downtown Brooklyn’s bustling major arteries. It has eight units spread across four levels, and even includes access to in-house gym facilities.
The house has been recently renovated space throughout, with split-unit heating and air conditioning, stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors. This house is a four-level, eight-unit home, with each unit equipped with a full kitchen and living room. The spaces are arranged around bright and inviting common areas, and the bedrooms are spacious in comparison to your average New York City apartment.
This coliving space is located in the cozy, leafy Fort Greene neighborhood bordering Downtown Brooklyn, in an area known for its creative scene and more relaxed pace. It’s near plenty of green space, including the scenic Fort Greene Park, and is walking distance from the East River waterfront, where you can catch the ferry to Manhattan.
The Fort Greene House is a 15-minute walk to the B/D and N/Q/R/W trains on DeKalb Ave., the G train at Fulton St. and the A/C trains at Lafayette Ave. You can even reach the 2/3 and 4/5 trains at Nevins St. in less than 20 minutes. You can also walk 7 minutes to take the NYC Ferry from the Brooklyn Navy Yard stop.
THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE
We worked with interior designers to make the house comfortable for all of our members in any room of the house. For the furniture we used only the best suppliers and materials, from real wooden surfaces to sleek countertops.
We’ve thought of all the little things you need to feel right at home upon arrival.
As always, the well-being of our members is our top priority, and we're committed to providing a safe environment for members at all Outpost houses as the novel coronavirus pandemic continues to evolve. We're following expert recommendations within our houses to ensure your safety, including by leaving rooms empty for at least 24 hours after a move-out, providing our staff with appropriate PPE and using high-strength Lysol, Clorox and bleach disinfectants to clean after every guest departure. We'll continue to adapt our strategies moving forward to ensure the health and safety of all of our members.
Your room will be clean and furnished just like the rest of the house. Rooms at the Fort Greene House are all private. Bedding is available for an additional fee.

THE KITCHENS/DINING ROOM
The kitchens in each unit have gas stoves and stainless steel appliances and are stocked with plenty of supplies, so you can meal prep or cook dinner with your housemates without a worry.
- Amenities include microwaves, dishwashers, large sinks, coffee makers, blenders, plenty of cabinets, cookware, tableware, cutting boards and anything else you would need in a kitchen.
- Security: 24/7 security in all common areas.
THE (CO)LIVING ROOM
The living rooms are at the heart of each unit within the Fort Greene House, with their comfy couches and TVs, these areas are where we host movie nights, game nights and chill hangouts. The space is equipped with everything you need to relax.

- Tech: Google Chromecast.
We provide many bathroom essentials, as well.
- toilet paper, hand soap and small garbage bags, which will never run out!
The Fort Greene House also has in-building laundry facilities where members can do their laundry in the comfort of their own home.
At the Fort Greene House, you can keep fit without having to pay for a gym membership. The workout area at this house includes both cardio equipment and dumbbells, with floor-to-ceiling mirrors so you can check your form.
We screen all candidates before approving applications so that there are no worries about moving into a new place with new people — only excitement!
We have flexible month-to-month commitment options. We do not require extensive documents from you, guarantors or large deposits. A longer commitment on your side helps us to provide you with better prices.
