When you wake up in your new apartment, head straight for the fridge to grab some juice. Cook up some eggs up for you and your housemate on the gas stove. If you prefer fresh coffee in the mornings, stop in at Plowshares Coffee Bloomingdale to order an almond milk latte.
After a day of classes, return home to CoSo on 109th Street to chill out in front of some Cable TV. In some apartments, you may even get to watch on a flat screen. Say hello to any four-legged friends that are living with you as many of the apartments on 109th Street are pet-friendly for cats and dogs. At dinner time, whip up a meal for your fellow students on the oven or range, and load up your plates in the dishwasher afterwards. If you don’t feel like cooking, pick up a steaming bowl of pho from Saiguette or get something lighter with the rainbow rolls from Ichie Japanese restaurant. Later, sort out your laundry basket as many of the apartments have washer/ dryers on site.
When you get some downtime, Skype family back home or finish off some studying for tomorrow’s classes using the internet hookup. Alternatively make the most of living so close to beautiful Central Park and take a relaxing stroll with friends.
