You’ll enjoy a quick and easy commute to class when you set up home at one of the CoSo buildings on 108th Street. You can walk to Columbia University in just 14 minutes or, if you’ve got a heavy bag of books, take the 11-minute subway ride: you’re conveniently located for the nearest station.
When your alarm goes off each morning, wake up in your beautiful old building on the Upper West Side. Sit in a bright sunlit room as you Skype friends back home using the internet hookup in your apartment. Walk across the hardwood floors and grab some cold juice from the fridge, then make some oatmeal for breakfast on the gas stove in your kitchen before heading out to college. Most buildings on 108th Street have elevators, so you won’t have to carry heavy bags up and down the stairs.
At the end of a day of lectures, meet friends for dinner at one of the great restaurants that are right on your doorstep. Eat fish tacos and sip margaritas at Cantina 1838, or try something different with the vegan tuna rolls at Seasoned Vegan. If you prefer to cook, whip up something for dinner in the oven or range cooker back at your apartment. Afterwards, clean your clothes in the on-site laundry, then relax before bed in front of your favorite Cable TV, or log onto Netflix instead. Many of the CoSo buildings have secure entry systems so as you drift off to sleep, you will feel completely safe and secure in your home.
