This property offers a generally smooth move-in experience, and the maintenance team is often praised for being quick and efficient with in-apartment repairs, like replacing a dishwasher. However, prospective residents should be aware of ongoing building-wide issues, including frequent elevator downtime, an unpleasant lobby odor, and concerns with laundry facilities, the gym, and pet amenities. really would not recommend this place. During my stay, I found 13 mouse inside the apartment, which was honestly a very unpleasant and concerning experience. I understand that no place is perfect, but having rodents inside the living space seriously affected my overall living experience.

We moved in a month ago, and so far we have not encountered the problems in the other reviews. Chip was nice and professional and we had a smooth move-in experience. Elevators are often down but there is always one that works. There are cockroaches but they are easy to kill. Mice were ocassionally heard crawling down the pipes, but they feared our cats. For the price, it is a nice place to live in.

We have been living here for the past year, and this place has been a nightmare. Out of the three elevators, usually only one is working. We constantly have to wait up to 20 minutes just to go up or down. On top of that, the lobby has had a horrible smell for months. It smells like a decomposing animal. The leasing office staff don't even work from the leasing office anymore because they can't handle the odor. Instead of finding and fixing the source, they simply spray an ungodly amount of Febreze to try to mask it. The laundry room is also in poor condition. Many of the washers and dryers don't function properly. Drying a single load of laundry usually takes two or three cycles before it's completely dry. The dog park they advertise is not properly enclosed and has numerous holes in the fencing. In many areas, the fence is literally falling apart, and multiple dogs have escaped because of it. The pet washing station is essentially unusable because it does not have hot water, so hardly anyone uses it. The gym is also falling apart. It is poorly maintained, and there are insects running around while you are trying to work out. The apartment itself is fine, but for the price and all the ongoing issues with the building, it simply is not worth it. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. Look elsewhere.

we had a very nice experience with the Jvue maintenance service and we want to mention this. our dishwasher was malfunctioning and we asked for maintenance at 3:00pm -- the following day, before noon, we had a brand new dishwasher installed. we want to say thank you to Jaderson from the maintenance team for his excellent work and warm demeanor! when you are leasing having a good maintenance service is always a plus!

Nearly four months after move-out, J VUE still has not returned my deposit refund, despite Massachusetts General Laws c. 186, § 15B requiring it within 30 days. I have run out of patience because management has ignored my follow-up emails and repeatedly brushed me off on the phone. After I moved out on December 17, 2025, I received a final statement on December 30, 2025, stating that my deposit would be refunded within 30 days. It has now been nearly four months, and I still have not received anything. Every time I call, the front desk tells me “next week,” says they will send an email update after speaking with the manager, and then nothing happens. No follow-up, no reply to my emails, and no legitimate explanation for the delay. I do not know many people who would still wait this patiently for four months without getting any meaningful response. Many people have already commented on how poor the living environment is. I will just add one more thing. When we first moved in during the winter, the heater in the apartment was broken and was not fixed until April. This was during a Boston winter, and we still did not make excessive complaints. We kept the apartment relatively clean, so the mouse and roach problems were barely tolerable, but we still caught mice from time to time, and the roach problem was constant.
