When you live at The Laurels, you’ll be just a six-minute drive to the University of Florida, or an easy bike ride away. You can get to Santa Fe college in 12 minutes by car. Start your day in your spacious townhouse sipping a coffee on your private balcony or patio, then head to the spacious fitness center for a workout. Prepare breakfast with fresh vegetables you bought earlier from the Union Street Farmers’ Market. If you’re driving to college, pick your car up from one of the many car parking spaces on-site.
After class, you can take your pick of local nightlife spots as your new home is on an RTS bus route. Alternatively, you could enjoy a night in watching the biggest HBO shows on your cable TV. If you feel like company later, offer to cook for new friends on the barbecue on the outdoor sundeck or check out the big screen at the clubhouse. Download a new app using the Wi-Fi while you’re there.
Later, you can sweat out the day’s stresses in the sauna, spend time with friends in the swimming pool or simply take a stroll in The Laurels’ beautiful grounds. If you need to catch up on work before class tomorrow, hit the computer lab. You could even challenge your housemates to a game of volleyball, tennis or basketball on one of the courts. If you’re feeling more relaxed, opt for a game of billiards or some retro fun on the games room’s air hockey table.
Safety is important at The Laurels , with gated entry and an on-duty attendant, and if you find yourself with a broken washer/dryer, there is 24-hour emergency maintenance help too.
