River Crossing Apartments

We have lived here for 2 years. Location was great and we moved here for convenience. The pool is open year around and I would say is maintained well. I stopped using the gym because there is mold all over the walls and ceiling and the air filter is never cleaned. I work in property management so my expectations may be high when it comes to management and maintenance. Maintenance lacks sense of urgency, and they don’t complete work orders in a timely manner or even at all in some cases but will mark work orders as complete. They are usually unprofessional. We have had issues with mold in the apartment a few different times, each time was blamed on the AC, we were told that the air filter was dirty so they replaced it, the first time. The air filter was not changed prior to us moving in and has never been changed by the property since then. I called for an after hours emergency and was told the on call tech had his kid and couldn’t come out. Parking lots are over crowded and they do not monitor them, the gate at the front entrance will work for a month and then be down for three. Like I said location is great, luckily we had no major issues in the apartment. However as someone who works in property management I would not lease here again. You can find better apartments for the same price.

The absolute rudest and run down apartments you can find. The BALDING maintenance guy will run you over, when in repairs, regardless of the repair he assures you, that you don't need the repair no matter the potential harm (electrical fire hazards)....he bullied this couple out of the Pooler due to a toddler ...the toddler was wearing swim appropriate attire, the parents went the extra mile. I have a sister who lives here....believe all the other's negative reviews. The parking lots flood with high tide. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT A GATED COMMUNITY. The golf cart gangsters team up and try to run you over, ON THE SIDEWALK! you have covered golf carts to protect from rain. Almost ran me and my brother-in-law over whipping down the sidewalk in the rain. My sister moved her car... they sped off in pavement....not the sidewalk...funny. They are extremely rude to guests of tennants. Lie about repairs....they told her pressure washing...the buildings are lnt structure safe and a lot of companies have backed out of repairs it seems. Interesting that it takes 60 days to find a pressure wash team ...when shouldn't the maintenance do it? You know maintain the property?

To response from River Crossing: I have forwarded you all the corresponding emails again for your review to see that I've been reaching out to you. Still no response. I don't appreciate your snarky comments and I would like to reach out to the owner since management lacks professionalism. Update : I've reached out via email numerous times due to work schedule...I have yet to be contacted. Just like work orders, I leave contact information for planning time for service when home and never received anything. I have sent at least 3 emails for the service dog charges.... I live here. Definitely come if you love being kept up nightly by other empty apartments, being charged for service dog, not emotional support...an actual service dog, have service requests ignored
