Willow Lake Apartments

The photos there are edited; none of it is real. My experience has been very unpleasant. After two years here, the service is terrible. You report problems, and they only come to fix them when they feel like it. I've been asking for a change of apartment for a year because this one has been very old since I arrived. The wood is rotten, causing a cockroach infestation, and they just promise to fix it, but in the end, they do nothing. They only made me renew my contract, promising to move me to a remodeled apartment, but they didn't. And now that I want to break the contract, they tell me it can't be done; they just make excuses. I thought things would be different with this new manager, but they just say they'll do something, and in the end, they don't change anything. I don't recommend this place; besides, they steal your packages.

The maintenance is horrible. The apartments are 180 years old. They don’t come fix what needs to be done. The people in the rent office are rude and very disrespectful and I don’t suggest anyone move there.

Don’t move here. They have roaches. Maintenance doesn’t fix anything. The office staff don’t do and don’t know shit. The trash is always over flooded. Crack heads walk around and sleep around the neighborhood all the time. They will try to trap you in a lease and not let u give proper 60 day notification to vacate by not responding to your emails. This place needs to be fined and shut down

Don’t even THINK about EVER moving here. I lived here for a year - the staff does not care about the residents AT ALL. The apartment has roaches that will not leave, lots of hairs and bugs painted into the walls, DISGUSTING APPLIANCES upon arrival! Nothing looks anything like the photos they provide except the perfect leasing office. When I moved in my unit did NOT have a coax outlet so I had to wait a coax outlet so I had to wait a few weeks until Xfinity could come and install one!!!!! Apartments have leaks as well as other plumbing issues upon move in like no hot water…. Not to mention the MOUNTAINS of trash and glass that pile up at the trash collector all the way to the entrance! The grounds are covered in trash and dog poop. Never really felt safe to walk my dogs as random dogs show up loose on the property. Cops are constantly called for varying reasons. Appliances are broken upon move-in maintenance. Will close tickets without solving issues if they do solve an issue they actually don’t. It’s never ever fixed. Maintenance also sometimes will not show up yet mark your issue as fixed. Again DO NOT MOVE HERE all staff constantly tells you different information when you talk to them. RUN DONT LIVE HERE IT IS SO SO NOT WORTH IT

I had the pleasure of meeting the new community manager today!! He was awesome and very informative. I was accommodated without an appointment and even received snacks as we went for a tour of the property. I was first unsure as he appeared busy. However, I’m now excited to apply and become a resident at Willow Lakes. Although I was very nervous and unsure Tori reassured me that this would be a great choice and the pricing is outstanding. This is the first property I’ve been to that has accepted my walk in and gave me great customer service and hospitality! Thank you Tori
