The Connection at Statesboro

I dont like that fact that they come into your room while you're sleeping to do an inspection. Talk about invasion of privacy. They should give the option schedule on a day when no one is home or during times we wont be sleeping. Or better yet, TELL us what day and time someone is planning on showing up so then we at least know someone Is coming. Some of us work nights. Other than that , staff is nice but I agree with some of these reviews. Their fees are HIGH.

I lived here my last two years of college, it was the safest I felt living in Statesboro. My apartment was in great condition, any maintenance issues were minor and usually fixed within 24 hours of putting in a work order. Noise insulation could be better, you can pretty clearly hear your roomates if they are in the common space but not much if in bedrooms. People in the office were nice and knew my name after picking up packages a few times. The pools are maintained well. The shuttle to campus was great but wish it ran a little later into the evening. The gates work well for the most part but one was left open for months. Overall it is a quieter apartment complex, my building was next to the basketball court so there was noise from that and sometimes from people playing music loudly in their cars. It is nice that they have the printers in the clubhouse though sometimes they were not working. Overages for utilities were around $30-$40 per month for me (3 bedroom, 3rd floor). I got my full security deposit back after moving out, they send a cleaning checklist so just make sure to follow it.
