I am extremely concerned and frustrated about the living conditions at this property. My daughter recently moved into the apartment, and the air conditioning has not been working since she moved in. Maintenance installed a window unit as a temporary solution, but the apartment is still extremely hot and the unit is not adequately cooling the space. This is especially concerning because my granddaughter suffers from allergies and bronchitis. Having a child with respiratory issues living in an apartment without adequate cooling is unacceptable. On top of the air-conditioning issue, there is also a roach infestation inside the refrigerator, which is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. We have now been told for nearly two weeks that the maintenance supervisor is ordering a part for the air conditioning. At this point, we need more than repeated assurances that the part has been ordered. If the part is unavailable or delayed, management needs to contact a qualified heating and cooling company and get the system repaired. My daughter and granddaughter should not have to continue living in these conditions. This has gone on long enough. I am requesting immediate action on both the air conditioning and the roach infestation, along with a clear timeline for when these issues will be completely resolved. If these problems cannot be resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to explore other options, including moving my daughter and granddaughter out of the apartment.

my AC was out for 9 days. Maintenance came Saturday and have me a window unit until they can fix the issue. It’s no longer hot in my apartment

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with this property has been extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I have dealt with ongoing problems involving the AC, hot water, roaches, the carpet, and general maintenance, and these issues have significantly affected my quality of life. The roach infestation has been one of the worst problems. This isn’t simply seeing an occasional bug. I have dealt with roaches in areas where they absolutely should not be, including inside the refrigerator. Finding roaches inside an appliance where food is stored is disgusting, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable. No resident should have to worry about opening their refrigerator and finding roaches. The pest issue is especially disturbing because it makes you question whether the problem is actually being treated properly or whether management is simply addressing symptoms temporarily. A resident should not have to continuously live with pests after repeatedly bringing the issue to management’s attention. On top of the pest problem, there have been ongoing AC issues. The apartment should have reliable heating and cooling, and residents should not have to repeatedly deal with an AC that doesn’t function properly. There have also been problems with the hot water. Hot water is a basic necessity, not an amenity. Having unreliable hot water is unacceptable when residents are paying rent and expecting a functional home. The carpet and overall condition of the apartment are also disappointing. The condition of the unit does not reflect what I believe residents should reasonably receive for the amount of rent being paid. These aren’t cosmetic complaints they contribute to an overall feeling that basic maintenance and living conditions are not being taken seriously. What makes this experience even more frustrating is having to continually deal with problems instead of getting permanent solutions. Residents shouldn’t have to repeatedly report the same issues, wait for maintenance, or live with unacceptable conditions while trying to get someone to take the situation seriously. A home should be clean, sanitary, comfortable, and properly maintained. Having roaches in the refrigerator, dealing with unreliable hot water and AC, and living with other unresolved maintenance concerns is far from that standard. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting here to ask very specific questions about pest control, maintenance, AC, hot water, carpet condition, and previous complaints before signing a lease. Don’t just look at the apartment during a quick tour. Pay attention to the details and ask what happens when something goes wrong after you move in. Management needs to do much more than provide temporary fixes. Residents deserve to feel comfortable and safe in their own homes, and paying rent should not mean having to tolerate recurring problems like these.
