All these random 5 star reviews to hide the 1 star reviews! I lived here for a year. It is very convenient to shopping centers. I did not like that maintenance randomly enters your unit. They send an alert moments before entering. I had a Google smart watch on my kitchen island when I left home one day. I checked the tracking app and it showed the watch was still home so I did not worry about it. When I returned home, the watch was GONE and reset so I could no longer track it. No point in reporting it as if anyone would confess or if management would address it; they address NOTHING. They charge for the parking garage even though your car will get broken in to. I came outside one morning and at least 15 cars had broken windows.(Not exaggerating )How does that happen with security? 🤔 The criminals had too much time. My car and all the other Tesla models were not touched. I guess they knew Tesla has cameras around and inside the vehicles. All others were smashed like a movie scene. Also, I did not like living in an apartment that faced the whole foods parking lot. Loud delivery trucks and lawn blowers at 6am was annoying. I was using a rental car and forget to put the decal in the window; it was on the passenger seat. I came outside while the booster was still there and showed the decal to him and explained but nope, still had to pay. I just used a credit card and disputed the charge since management was not going to do anything. The pool is only open from end of May to Labor Day which is ridiculous for Ga. Most complexes in the area including Onyx have year round pools Other than that, the apartments are nice and well kept.

Lived here for 3 years and finally moved on to a new property which also made me realize Baxter Decatur shouldn’t be considered a luxury property compared to my new place. Fitness equipment isn’t maintained and half the machines aren’t working properly. Overall building property isn’t kept up to par… often will find dog poop in random places, blood stains in the elevator, trash in the parking garage, etc. Walls are thin so you will hear neighbors around and above you and the office will recommend you call the police. I’ve seen a few office staff come through and the newest seems to be unorganized. On a positive note, maintenance staff resolves things quickly and the monthly price is decent for the area.
