Our family moved to HALO about a month ago, and we have been very happy with our experience! There is plenty of parking, and the community offers easy access to MARTA. DeKalb Farmers Market is nearby, and the school district could not be better. Desmond and Gabriela in the leasing office are always quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I have also enjoyed the occasional resident events, such as complimentary massage nights and wine-and-drawing evenings at a local independent bookstore. Needless to say, moving into a brand-new apartment has been a real gem!

I applied here blindly after being completely tired of my previous property. I been moved in for almost a month now and I absolutely love it! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! If you haven’t toured or leased I definitely recommend you do! The high cabinets are 10/10 🫶🏼

Toured Halo at Decatur while looking to transfer apartments, but didn’t end up viewing a unit. I’m very disappointed with my leasing consultant experience. I asked about parking garage cameras and proof-of-income requirements (I’m self-employed). One consultant (I believe Christina) kept cutting me off before I could finish my questions about the cameras/parking fee, she’d said they “may have” cameras and wouldn’t clarify. She was rude, cut me off and responded with crossed arms (negative body language). Gabby, who I worked with most, was pleasant and thanked me for my time, but when it came to the mandatory fees, both of them were dismissive rather than transparent, vague answers instead of straight ones. Pros: Building is new and looks nice from what I saw. Good location. Cons: Stacked mandatory fees, amenity fee, mandatory internet (no choice of provider), and parking, including a guest parking fee. Still under construction in parts. Pricing came in higher than my current place in Buckhead, despite the extra fees. Unclear answers on garage camera coverage. Overall, staff didn’t feel like they were there to serve residents so much as just do the job the kind of energy that turns into horror stories after move-in. Very disappointed

I normally don’t leave reviews but Halo apartment staff has made this process so easy. Desmond is super personable and knowledgeable about the grounds. He sold me on the vision from day one. Being able to get the virtual tour as well as the hard hat tour was awesome. The building is beautiful and I am excited about utilizing the amenities. They thought of everything!!
