Avondale Place Apartments

Absolutely the worst apartment experience I've ever had. If you're desperate for a place to live, maybe this is an optionbut I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you have a choice. I moved in here and was immediately disappointed. At move-in, there was a dead rat in a closet, the apartment had not been properly painted, it was extremely dirty, and the entire move-in process was unorganized. We have lived in plenty of apartments over the years, and this has by far been the worst experience I've had. The biggest issue is the lack of concern for the residents. We've had issues with rats somehow getting into the apartment, and they seem to come and go whenever they want. When concerns are brought to the office, there doesn't seem to be much urgency, communication, or a clear solution. At this point, I'm not sure if they don't care or simply don't know what to do—but either way, that's not my problem as a paying resident. And to make matters worse, the pool has been closed all summer, which is incredibly frustrating, especially when you're paying to live in a community that advertises amenities residents can't even use. On top of that, the utility bills have been outrageous, adding even more expense to an already disappointing living situation. I have tried to make the best of the situation because I have a class and other responsibilities, but honestly, I want to leave TODAY. If I have to break the lease just to get somewhere clean, safe, and properly maintained, I will seriously consider doing exactly that. Residents deserve better than this. Management needs to take these concerns seriously and actually address the living conditions instead of making residents feel like they're on their own. Do yourself a favor and thoroughly inspect this property before signing a lease. Oh and SHOUTOUT TO SPARKLE FOR BEING CONCERNED AND DOING WHAT SHE can to help my mother she can’t do it alone tho

⚠️Honest review⚠️ We have been here for about 5 months now and we love that the neighborhood is family oriented lots of kids we have been battling keeping our patio cleaned and having loud noise issues with neighbors. We’ve made a plethora of complaints about the trash and food the neighbors drop onto our patio and nothings been done about it. We were told they received a lease violation and we thought okay maybe that’ll put a stop to it but no. They continue to stomp around bang on things bouncing basketballs and dropping trash everywhere. The fact that we also have a newborn who he can barley get good naps in because of the banging. Really starting to regret living here. Won’t be staying here another year having to endure this bs.

I moved here in April and the staff has been amazing to work with. I would like to thank Sparkle for going above and beyond. The maintenance man comes right then when called. They are under new management and working very hard to meet the needs of the tenants. The children play together and the neighborhood is very quiet. So far I am very happy and pleased with my apartment and the area.
