I’ve lived here for a little over 6 months and I’ve had an amazing experience. Maintenance has always been nice and super fast. I’ve never had any issues with the office, and they’ve always solved my issues with a smile. I will say that the gate has been down for a while (It broke during the hurricane over a year ago) but then more recently someone hit it with their car. Update: The gate access was a mess, they emailed us one Friday right before close of business to tell us that it works again and many people didn’t know their code and such (because it had been broken over the whole year I had been here). The lines were long and I left a message they way they requested through the portal, it’s been 3 months and never heard back. Moving out update: Moving out has also been a NIGHTMARE. I moved out on the 31st, as my lease states. Received NO information about move out, despite my emails 2 months in advance. Yet I’m still being charged for rent in the portal and threatened EVICTION. I turned in my keys on the 31st and have called over 10 times and only ONCE been able to talk to someone since they got a new AI bot over the phone number it makes it impossible to reach someone. Even when I did, she assured me she would fix it and sure wnough I get another email threatening the balance and eviction. Even now, currently this is still not fixed and still can’t get anyone on the phone.

Edit: The gate FINALLY works!! -- DO NOT MOVE HERE!! This place is VERY dangerous!! Most of their reviews are from 1+ years ago. I'm telling you the current state on 11/13/25. Multiple of my neighbors had their windows busted and cars broken into, plus someone else was SHOT one morning. The leasing office lied and said the gate worked when I moved in, but it hasn't worked AT ALL! Even after this, the gate still hasn't been fixed and people are still getting robbed! The office sent out an email about the shootings but has NEVER acknowledged the robberies!Even the police told my neighbor there is something always happening here and they can't solve the crimes quick enough. The office will say whatever they can to get you in. They will lie and say they are waiting on a part for the fence, but I've lived here over a year and still no gate. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Woodcrest has been so incredible to me, not only getting started in my first apartment but also the entire time i have lived here, Lillie and Mallory are absolutely incredible as well. They have been so accommodating and willing to listen to me, and on top of ALLL of that, the place is beautiful and the land is pretty too. I'd choose to live at Woodcrest over and over every time.
