AI Review Summary
This property generally offers a comfortable living experience, with many residents appreciating its prime location within walking distance to essential stores and Georgia Tech, as well as the modern feel of the apartments and their layouts. However, some common concerns include inconsistent maintenance response times, particularly for urgent issues like AC repairs, and recent changes to parking policies that have led to frustration and unexpected fees for residents and guests. While the social atmosphere is generally positive with regular community activities, potential residents should be aware of occasional noise from common areas and be prepared for potential challenges with package delivery services.

Our A/C has stopped working over 5 times within the past 3 years of living here. The service for repair is slow and we currently living in 85 degree heat. When we spoke with the front office we were told maintenance would come but they did not. They could have dropped off a fan or something but no one seemed to care. This will be our last year living here. We given this place way too many chances.

This is an awesome property , the property manager Dyllan is awesome, so is Deja , they are very helpful when it comes to the resident . Love the star parking company also , I got my decal in mail soon as I moved in and everyone is educated on the parking rules . They are so efficient on keeping the property safe from all the rule breakers. If you follow the rules , you have nothing to worry about , rules are easy to follow. The guys who patrol the lot are so respectful and courteous considering how tough their jobs are . I also love the rooftop view it’s breath taking , anytime I need to relax and clear my mind the rooftop is the best place to go . Also love the maintenance team , very responsive.

I would not recommend living at SteelWorks Apartments. There are plenty of better apartment options in the area. In just over a month of living here, I have dealt with endless issues. My car has been booted twice. The first time was on move-in day while I was unloading after an apartment transfer. The second time happened almost two months later because Star Parking claimed they had no record of my registration, even though I submitted the required information. If there was a system or backend error, that is not the resident’s responsibility. My car was even booted inside the second floor resident parking garage, even though I have a garage gate fob. That simply does not make sense. On top of that, I have had ongoing problems with insects, and getting help from management has been extremely frustrating. Every time I ask for assistance, I am told to email a manager because no one in the office can make a decision. Instead of resolving issues, residents are told to pay fees first and deal with third-party companies on their own. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property. If you are looking for an apartment, I suggest exploring the many other options available before choosing SteelWorks.

if you like peace and quiet, i would avoid living near the courtyard or pool area. people regularly throw gatherings/parties there, especially during weekdays and sunday nights, and it can get extremely loud. there’s often a lot of shouting and loud music. there has also been at least one break-in, and multiple cars were affected by this. another issue is the parking garage. the mirrors are not positioned properly, so they don’t give you a clear view of cars coming from the other side when you’re going up the ramp. elevators break often as well and it takes a while to fix. also, when first moving in, i came to ask how the garage remote worked and the guy in the leasing office did not know how it worked and told me to “figure it out”.

I relocated to Steelworks from LV for work. From the moment we arrived, the on-site staff has been courteous, attentive, and super helpful - on things big and small. We looked around plenty before deciding on Steelworks, and we don't have any regrets. Thanks gals (shout out to you in the front office downstairs).
