I recently toured this complex with my boyfriend. I had a pleasant experience. Elise provided excellent service and made the tour very enjoyable for us. I would recommend setting up a tour of this nice complex.

My experience at the Lofts at Mercer has been amazing. As a student, I really appreciate the convenience of being so close to campus, which makes my daily commute much easier. When I first decided to move to the Lofts, I needed to expedite the process due to some personal circumstances, and the staff especially Ms. Edith, was incredibly helpful and accommodating to my needs and throughout the entire process. I absolutely love the atmosphere here, and I’ve had a wonderful experience so far. I would definitely recommend the Lofts at Mercer to any student or anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to live!

Do you really think that human traffickers, rapists and other criminals are going to follow the directions and use the other door? In addition, Mercer has no exterior cameras to provide safety. At night the exterior lights do not come on.

I lived at The Lofts at Mercer Atlanta for four years, and honestly, I did not enjoy my time there. I stayed for a long time hoping things would improve, but by the time I moved out, I was more than ready to leave. When I first moved in, the pricing was much more straightforward because electricity, gas, and other utilities were included. Then, year after year, the prices continued to increase, while the quality and condition of the property did not improve enough to justify what residents were paying. And God forbid you are late on a payment. After the 5th, the communication can become extremely aggressive, with residents being threatened with eviction. It's a lot of pressure, especially when you're paying the amount they charge to live there. There are also WAY too many physical issues with the property. I've experienced/seen cracks in the walls and paint, panels falling down, and cheap appliances. And when those appliances break, residents can end up being charged for them. For the amount of money residents are paying, I expected much better quality and upkeep. But the BIGGEST issue—and honestly the reason I was so happy to leave—was the pest problem. Roaches and silverfish are a frequent problem throughout the apartments. And I'm not talking about occasionally seeing a tiny bug. These pests can be HUGE, and you can find them in your bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and other areas of your apartment. It is extremely unsettling to walk into your home and see a giant roach. I've complained about this issue since I moved in. The response was essentially that we're in the South and that everyone deals with pests. That is not an acceptable excuse. I've lived elsewhere in the South and never experienced a pest problem like this. The solution was basically pest control, which comes once a week. But if you're not home or miss the appointment, you may not even receive the treatment. Meanwhile, you're still living with the problem. I repeatedly raised concerns that there may be an underlying issue with the building/foundation that is allowing these pests to enter, and I asked for someone to actually investigate the source rather than repeatedly treating the symptoms. Nothing meaningful was done. After four years, I was exhausted by constantly having to deal with these issues. I was genuinely happy to move out. There are simply too many problems with this property to justify the prices they charge. The condition of the building, maintenance issues, rising costs, and especially the pest situation made my experience extremely frustrating. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE LOFTS AT MERCER ATLANTA. Please do your research, talk to current and former residents, and listen to the reviews before signing a lease. I stayed for four years, so this isn't coming from someone who lived there for a month and had one bad experience. I gave this place plenty of time, and I still left feeling relieved to be gone. LISTEN TO ME OR BE SORRY LATER.

Following up to my previous review, my roommate & I attempted to ask the Lofts to leave our lease with it only being 3 months left....the Lofts denied with no real reason other than being money hungry. So now I am stuck here with problems STILL persisting. I opened my freezerup to find a swarm of dead gnats....not sure how they would even get in there. Never happened to me before. Do not live here.
