This has been the most difficult and stressful community that I have worked with since renting. Me and my partner toured an apartment and the agent promised that he would send a quote for that exact apartment since we like where it was located in the community. After going through the approval process (which is long and drawn out), we moved in only to find that the property agent gave us an apartment in a less desirable location on the terrace floor. The door was also jammed so we could not enter the property. Because we were deceived, we decided to void the lease with the property which incurred various charges. They returned the deposit and app fee. After being reviewed by corporate, they refused to refund our other charges that were incurred due their carelessness. If I were you, I would stay far away from this complex. The experience alone made sure I would NEVER rent with a Cortland community. They do not take accountability for any of their actions and still tried to make it seem that it was a mistake made on our end.

This place is absolutely not worth the price. The leasing office is unprofessional, often taking up to a week to reply to concerns and sometimes don’t even respond at all. Every member I’ve spoken with on the phone is dismissive and rude. The units are old and have pests.
